The thing about regular big gym guys is they don't understand a 150 pound purple belt will suffocate you with pressure and isolation. They will use their entire body and isolate single pieces of you after they have rode you like a bull to wear you down.

The guy Mighty was competing against was not trying to lift him up and slam him. That's illegal in jiujitsu tournaments. The argument Bradley has is that he can just bum rush Mighty and slam him on the ground. Now, Demetrious is an absolute legend obviously, and Bradley is delusional, obviously. But he has more of a chance, against someone who's A LOT smaller than him, even if they're trained. Size DOES matter ultimately when the disparity is big enough. Can Bradley beat Nate Diaz? Absolutely not. Can he beat Mighty? Probably no, but he's got more of a much bigger chance for sure. I'd even say that Bradley can completely destroy Devin Haney (assuming it's a fight and not just boxing obviously) out of sheer size difference alone (Haney is not a knockout artist. He's a hug machine). If mighty was just a little bit bigger I'd say Bradley has no chance whatsoever, but because Mighty, as amazing as he is, is really small, you have to be realistic.

I dont like it when people say no ego. Its impossible. Controlled ego is the goal. Tempered ego is the way. Not to get on my soap box or anything but I am always keenly aware of where im at in the pecking order.. in the gym, at tournaments, in competition in general, as someone who has been involved in combat sports my whole and if you have no ego, you cant compete. The people with the ego want it more and do more to get it. MM and izzy both know what theyre talking about when it comes to fighting as whole way more than I do so, I'm not throwing shade or anything but i just think the phrase "no ego" is a misleading misnomer.
