@@aplus1080 I think Izzy is one of the quickest fighters in the game maybe ever. And I don't mean just physically. You can just see in his eyes the way he reads every movement his oponents makes like down to the molecule. He is constantly reading every tiny movement and then bouncing to the best possible position. Every move he makes is in relation to the oponent and is hyper efficient. He is never forcing his engages. Instead he feints and uses positioning to bait his oponents to do the thing he wants them to and then punishes it. Definitely don't let him get in his zone or it's game over for you.

Jans double legs were basic and we seen Izzy stuff and juke before. Jans recent performance was wack and just so happened that mentally Izzy wasn’t there that night unfortunately
Costa wasn't himself against Izzy tho. Izzy's counter punching took away Costas bread and butter. The leg kicks were a constantly served appetizer lol. I understand what you're saying but Izzy fights defensive. That wouldn't fare so well against tougher guys like we saw with Jan who won't be as phased by his punching ability because most lightheavyweights usually walk around at at least 220. Costa was used to overwhelming opponents who were slow and occasionally explosive. Then, he met a tactician. The reads Adesanya puts together are something you can not teach.
Izzy is so accurate & sets you up masterfully. Strikers like that are just a puzzle. Come in attacking & get countered brutally . Be patient, get shook by faints & picked apart from range with power. As technical as he was, you can hear those kicks & see the speed. This was tactical but personal that combo that rocked Paulo was a whirlwind. Literally just wanted to kick his ass💯
Damn those kicks were so fast, almost impossible to counter. Best way to defend that kick is to probably move your leg the way jose aldo does in one of his recent fights. If you have the reaction time that is.

While Costa seemed strategically embarrassing in that fight: 1) he’s fighting the most sophisticated striker in ufc 2) he was still standing after that many hard leg kicks
A lot of people don’t understand why stylebender humped him at the end, I believe it’s because in a press conference for the fight costa pretty much called him gay for having earrings and told him he looked very pretty with them. I think humping him after wiping the fucking floor with him was stylebenders way of making a joke of it and throwing it back in his face after absolutely beating the shit out of him the whole fight
