The ‘bittersweet symphony’ track you’re sampling has always been my favourite song, and I love finding sampled versions, but your song is on another level. This one is really making me feel everything... Just recently parted ways with my partner of 4 years. It ended well despite things out of our control dictating the necessity of a break up. However, we're so lucky because we're still close friends despite all of it. Anyway, the point is, this track really speaks to me right now and is helping me grieve/process everything. I am from the OG The Verve. I have the original, the Damned Anthem version, and the Black Hole Dream version all on my favorites. This one is absolute fire. I will be adding it. It give a whole new meaning and oddly bucolic spin to an otherwise heavy thought. A fresh reminder that goodbyes don’t have to be sad, ugly, or diminish the meaning of what has been.
