Musically it's the softest song on the album but, damn is it heavy

I stand corrected. This is the best song on the album.

Its so weird because I just went through this where I fell out of love with someone who REALLY loved me and through this whole thing every sad song just makes me feel guilty as usually it's from the perspective of the person who got left and I was like " I wish there was a song I could connect to" and BAM this comes out. Its a whole mood.

those lyrics and Tyler's voice... this really is one of the most beautiful songs ever written imo.

My jaw dropped the first time I listened to this song. It felt as if Tyler was narrating my life. At the moment I’m experiencing whatever feelings Tyler is talking about. I’ve been seeing this girl for a few months now and she’s amazing. But something is missing from the relationship that I can’t fully explain and I’m not as invested in the relationship as I should be. I’ve constantly wondered what’s wrong with me but after listening to this song I’ve realized it’s a perfectly normal feeling. You’ll meet plenty of amazing people in your life, doesn’t mean any of them have to be anything more than a friend. Thank you Tyler and the rest of Issues for bringing this to light for me.

This song expressed to a tee what I went through with my first long term girlfriend of five years. I thought every lime of this song to myself during that whole time and after. To this day I wish that I could have been the right person for her because she was almost perfect, but something in me wasn’t there. I’ll always miss you, Ghada 💙 wish I coulda been somebody else for her sake.

I just watched Tyler’s live on instagram. He explained that this song was made in reference to when he was in HS and dating girls but was questioning his sexuality. He explained he wasn’t sure if he was gay or what, but he hurt a few women in the process... and thats how this song came about.

I broke up with a girl I was dating for almost 4 years a few days before Valentine's day this year. I've always been on the other side and that's what made it so hard for me to end it. I truly believe it was best for both of us. I just fell out of love and I still feel terrible. We made some really good memories together that I wont ever forget and that's what makes it hurt even more. I never really gave this album an entire listen until the other day and I'm glad I finally did. This song hit me hard. I felt like the "bad guy" but after hearing this song I know I did the right thing and that sometimes it happens in relationships. Thank you Issues.

After listening to this song again a few months after the Tyler scandal, I almost feel like Tyler knew this was coming, knew he had problems and knew that him staying in the band was only going to hurt their future, so this almost feels like this was a planned farewell. I recently broke up with her because I had to figure my shit out, and this song feels like it was literally written for me. it wasnt that I didnt love her. I didnt love myself and she suffered because of that. I wish I couldve been myself for her sake. lying to myself made me lie to her about everything. I know she wouldve stayed, cause she herself was bisexual and I know she loved me for who I was, not how I expressed myself. this song makes me remember to never repeat that mistake ever again.

I heard this song for the first time this week and it hit me so hard it’s my favourite. I recently discovered that monogamy is not my thing and it hurts so bad but I’ve had to accept it and figure out how to deal with it in a society that isn’t very accepting of it. Amazing song, but this is what I dont get about you, fellow fans Most of you shit on Flexin', saying it sounds like a Tyler Carter project, while this is just Tyler and a piano that literally sounds like it didnt make it in his solo album. This sounds like someone who is finally coming out of the closet and applologizing to who he's hurt for not being capable of feeling the same way.

When I was younger I bullied the one who is now my girlfriend. The everyday struggle to stay for her can be so hard I knowing that I drove her to attempting suicide 3 times and didnt see it at the time. Wish I could be somebody else.
