Thanks, excellent review. I have a different model ISub, but mechanically very similar, and I'm very happy with it. Although, the top fill is something I miss. When it's time for an upgrade I'll give this a try. Btw, I run mine straight from a single 18650, no electronics, external charger, just swap out the battery when the vape gets thin.

Just bought one of these off the back of your review, makes a great stealthy vape on my Istick 40w using the original horizontal 0.5 ohm kanthal coils. Using a 60pg/40vg juice and not having any leakage issues ... as yet. I like the airflow, not too airy and not too tight. Flavour is good around 25w which means I'm not massively eating up battery power or juice. 'Cloudage' is pretty good too if you want that even with the lower vg juice. Spot on review!

Im glad you like this tank - after 2 weeks mine started leaking like a sieve thru the afc. It seems the spring loaded shaft has come off line or something and is causing juice to flood the coil as well. Completely useless.

iv had this tank on my first vape which was a coolfire mini which stopped me smoking and iv just bought a coolfire ultra which has the same tank not bad but im thinking of getting an upgrade, but all hail the isub it helped change my life

Top fillers like this put down pressure on the liquid and could leak from the air holes, but this is more than likely to happen if your a tight ass like me and re wick your horizontal coils. Recommended 0.5 coils would be the 20-35w saves your battery on the cool fire..Would use Isub for chain vaping all day...............thanks Dean

I did the same damn thing...got rid of that delrin tip and put the wotofo RS on it. I hated the delrin tip...i could taste the plastic. Love this little tank, but for the US purchasers, mine came with two SS316 coils, no kanthal.

I got mine on Amazon for £12.50 so they are pretty cheap, I like it as a tank I can slip in my pocket on my Releaux RX 75, it looks good and is far better than the wismec tank cos I like TC and can enjoy the SS coils. I also have a Smok micro with the twin coil RBA in it that I love on the mod.

Thank you so very much! I’ve been trying to find the difference between the iSub V & VE. From your video it turns out I have the iSub V, so far I have ordered four replacement glass tubes.. none of them have been right (two of which cracked when I tried fitting them!).. Where on earth can I get replacement 3.8ml tubes for it, all help greatly appreciated :)

Looks a nice little tank and by the look of it the isub G rba would fit. I don't know if they are compatible but I would think they are. Even though they are not the nicest things to build and wick.

I'm having problems with this tank....I've got two of them and no matter what it keeps flooding the area where the coil is. Then it makes a gurgling noise. I've tried to let it stand with the air flow closed for 5 mins and It still gradually transfers to the coil bit :/

My liquid keeps coming out the bottom part of the tank where the air flow is if I open it (it has a gap)Thats not normal right is it my coil,I have the same tank and coil..??

What does the TPD have to say about squonkers? Reason being, I could see someone coming up with a 2ml sub-tank with a hollow pin, that can be refilled on-the-go by a squonker. 2ml is fine on something like the Nautilus X but once you get into the sub-ohm end of the spectrum, these tanks get thirsty fast.

I'm looking at dipping into sub ohming but want to keep my tried and trust istick 30w....will this be ok you reckon?

oh I like take it the rda kit will work it it as it's the standard coils like all there tanks

great vid dean, ordered :) can someone confirm if the isub rda coil fits in this one? as i pref around 0.8-1 ohm for the likes of the mini volt ect

Do the 3.8mil and the 2mil take the same coils or does the 3.8mil take bigger coils?

I don't know if it's just me, but can't stand those thick "chimney" looking tips. I like a thinner longer tip I can easily chew on. It's just not possible with the "chimneys". lol If you replace the tip with a thinner tip, you still got that cold metal base against the mouth. Not good! Can't seem to find an all plastic one piece molded tank... still using my old Smok GBC tanks. And then comes the puny juice capacity. Why on Earth they don't make a nice 5 to 8ml bubble tank for vapers who don't have the time to keep refilling the darn thing every few hours?!

I really dont see the point in having that spring located feature when unscrewing the top to fill up with juice. I noticed with mine when screwing back on so that the spring is fully pushed down the rubber seal does not always go into place where it should restricting the juice flow to the coil by blocking the holes. Once i figured this was a problem, i removed the rubber seal so the spring feature has no use when topping up. The tank does not leak as you top up anyway with the coil attached. This has caused better juice flow. Overall top tank... just pointless design in that one feature for me. Previous isubs do not have it. Also the mouth piece is plastic whereas previous ones are metal.

Really liked the Tesla Stealth review it made me go out and buy one!!

Well, fsck me sideways (!)... 3:00 minutes in /*paused*/ and that's the first time I've got the glass off my iSubV! It's been on the shelf (or in the 'vape drawer') for 5 months of the 10 I've had it - since the return spring on the JFC started playing up something chronic giving leaky flooding issues too often to care for. Having 'lost' my CFiv18650 (swiped, with a K1-style ego tank on it - ffs!) I've been in the market for a full-scale regulated mod again, and spared a thought for my ailing iSub-V too ... and those dozen or so unused coil heads I have kicking about (I have a certain amount of RTA fatigue some days!) I could only find it competitively priced in my market (/yours) with the dubious[ly] SmartBox: the 2ml 'E' version - which might perversely help create the necessary vacuum lock on the merest smidgeon of a fill, possibly lacking in my earlier noobish woes. Now, though, I may be able to do it justice with a thorough clean - having gone apesh*t on pre-TPD juice sales - as long as I can remember where I gouged that O-ring from! It was going to be a do-or-die application of WD40, followed by my best jab at an ultrasound bath... but a bit of decisive action was all that was required. I had visions of shattered glass and severed fingers. No more. ... And not even on a mod or stand! : */impressed/* Many thanks. Cheers!
