Heck yeah I like that saw!! Love my ported 372s!!! And YES to the sore Arse comment, that happens to me as well when I'm handling a lot of wood hahaha!!! Great content, and much love from my family to yours!!
Im so guilty of forgetting the rakers at times my self. Good morning 🌞 from Alabama Buckin an everyone else. I may not always comment, out busy an late. But l love these videos, so keep warm by the fire ,rest when you can.
Little techniques go a long way. Unraveling a knotted chain 👍 Fixing a chain jumping off the bar, genius... Love the close ups of your tats... You sure got the gift of gab. Keep flapping your yapper... We love it 👍✅🪘🪓
I have a chainsaw sharpener, but for some time now. I actually prefer to hand sharpen them. Only used it one time. Thanks too your tutorial l actually prefer it. It just gives me satisfaction lol.
Im a freah sawyer of like 4 months, and i just want to thank you for your videos! You make work fun haha. I have so many hang ups about what to do a how, and i appreciate the information and delivery if course
Howdy mr.bucken, great stuff, you are always teaching, man that pipe sounds great, never had a saw sound like that,I will try to get domething like that one day for sure, might do a little tinkering to see if I can build something for the heck of it,got a hand full of 372's but none run like yours, got a.390 that's a screaming demon, but still running a lot of saws with a lot of white on them!!!Lol, but love my huskys also but can't put down my 044 brother and back it up with the660,and yes keep the 394 to stay even !!! Love them all but came up on the stihls so I'm torn between them,70 now and how many do I really need???(all I can afford)Lol.still gather about 1 a.month, yes I still got the saw bug really bad,but I guess if.your going to be addicted might as well be saws, people.just don't know what a screaming saw means to a firewood logger, they can throw a.few in the hole when I'm done here!!!Lol!!! Thanks for being out there for us!!! Pleasure as always!!! Sierra John!!😅
You inspire me to love and care for me power saws more than ever, and a whole lot more. I have learned what a difference a sharp chain makes. Bucked up some firewood last weekend and my little 55cc Husky ripped!
Today i got the gullet but not the rakers but i must say that son of a gun was throwin some chips. Ty u so much for the advice. Will be passin along ur videos to my 17yr old boy who wants to follow in his Dads shoes and clear RoW Stay Buckin Billy
Good day friend thanks for you! 🙂Kind of surprised you didn’t pull that outta the dog hair before bucking. Probably cause you didn’t want to pick up any grit in the bark. Anyhoo keep having fun💪n hopefully the misses will rub them sore muscles for ya😃
I use same husqvarna Rackers gauge and I always file on the hard wood side because that what I cut the most but I will cut soft wood also . But was wondering if u file to soft wood side of rakers gauge and it pull harder into the wood.
This is a first for me to comment on..... but that music, that slow, steady, smooth, bluesy guitar.... I freakin love it. Is there a song name or anything you could give me? Man that took the video to a whole nother level
Just saying hello I've been watching a lot of your videos. I'd like your advice on where the best place to get a ported 372 husqvarna. What I want is a work saw not a racing saw that isn't going to last very long but a good port job on it good throttle response
When you have time & are bored out of your skull, see how many tricep dips you can do. The quadriplegic is curious and has a bet with her friend about it.
Cutting rounds on a beautiful fall day, the memories of many hours doing just that. It’s just a good feeling to be outdoors doing something that will benefit your family. 😊
I'm pretty new to chainsaws and love your videos. I'm wanting to buy a saw and I'm having an issue desiding between the ms362 and the ms391. Any ideas on which one would be better.
When I realized about proper raker height my life was different... 😉 I don't ever run a chain I sharpen without taking the gauge to it first after that.
My brother thinks i am weird , he says something wrong with you Bobby after working all freaking day cutting splitting wood you come watch watch videos of it. funny thing is he doesn't understand i haft to keep learning to stay ahead of him. The saws i put him behind wouldn't cut so good if i wasn't learning from you.
So the rakers were higher than the hard side.... and you ground them down with the hard side of the gauge? Am I missing something or would the soft side on the gauge grind the rakers down even more?
If yer askin , which it seems like you are , it’s not about looks friend. It’s about a few other things . 32” bars need power. 70 and up cc class . 24-28 “ is a nice starting point for a beginner
East coast run short bars. Hard wood trees. West coast run long bars. Soft big wood, like for. Hard to go wrong with a go saw in 50cc range and 20” bar. Stihl 261
Buckin, watching you run that saw is like poetry. I think the reason I enjoy your channel so much is that your message is as good as your content. Thank you.
@@BuckinBillyRaySmith But the hand file was on its last life plus the square wasn’t as used. Your hand filed chains always cut better. That’s just my opinion.
Can you explain "hard" " soft" on your gauage, as well as the numbers and what they represent. I know the old gauges that you have and upu love. But what about newer gauges on the market!
I think the soft wood spot takes a bit more raker off for a bigger chip or bite, hard wood I don't think you would want a big Bute because it may catch if you don't have enough power. I could be wrong but that's kinda the information I have gathered.
i honestly think you could win the timbersports champions in falling and bucking maybe not limbing and chainswap but falling for sure. also i really need to get myself a square grinder this would really kick up my 5105 dolmar its a little 50 cc saw nice light pulls a 18 inch bar with absolute ease even with my half dull chains they are not very bad but always could be better
