I got a question, The log stabilizer arm, or screw peg, that prevents the log from rolling off, not the adjustable slide-in ones, the one built onto my LX25. It has a fan tail that if the mill is to sit flat on a cement pad without feet and bolted to the pad, that fan tail can't flip and the peg can't move, can I cut it off,? What's the point of it at all other than keeping the arm out of the sawdust pile-up that I clean out anyway. and any downside to putting my mill on cement flat and bolted down with cement anchors?
