Frank should've been let go the way Milwaukee made the coaching change mid season, but that's the Suns doing things waaaay after the fact. Vogel has truly lost the locker room. Can you do a comparison of maybe good college Mrach Madness D compared to crap NBA???
I only knew it because at some points the matchup was displayed on the bottom-right. That logo is an eyesore, I don't want to be disrespectful, it might have a cultural meaning but I don't like the colors and it's hard to see what it is at a distance or if it's small.
I understand the Vogel hate. But also these men have been hooping year round their whole lives, I’m pretty sure getting back on d and boxing out are fundamentals of the game. How do they not just already do this if they’re supposedly pros
You can tell KD was focused on rebounding bc Vogel put in Bol Bol at C. The bench can’t score bc Vogel is super top heavy. Beal should have been coming off the bench with Grayson. Royce should start at the 4 & Saben Lee would play the PG. Okogie, Beal, Grayson, Bol, & Thad would play off the bench. I’d sit Eubanks for the playoffs. He hurts the team tremendously on D. Booker & Beal should have their minutes staggered off of each other. KD plays a complete game with one of them at a time on the court. They need to be split up.
I’m not very familiar with basketball but aren’t most of these just bad individual mistakes not the coach’s doing? Durant a clear culprit several times.
Yeah I would say it goes both ways. Some of these coaches don't have the balls to push their message and they are too soft on their stars, which leads to complacency and lack of effort. But then again is it really necessary to break down basics to these players? They should know this shit by now. It should be imprinted in their brains.
@@raygun00 It' s obvious that the players do not put out the same effort that they used to on defense. If the coaches come down on them , they may do what Spreewell did to Carissmo a few years ago. The coaches in the 60s , 70s and 80s were like drill sergeants. The players these days would cry or complain if they were treated like that these days.
@@frankfurter63 well sure u can argue that coaches were definitely more hard nosed in the early stages of the game but the defensive coverages of today are far and away ahead of what they used to be and watching frank vogels defense is like watching a group of guys playing pick up after getting off their 9-5 yes the efforts poor but the inherent way that they play defense outlined by the coach sets them up to leave guys wide open bc its not actually guarding ball screens properly and never making a proper fucking switch
