Over 500 dislikes, come on. How can you not like or appretate this man skills? The haters in this world. Thanks you sir for sharing your skills with all of us
@@animalmotherdk2649 I wondered about that as well. I can't tell for sure but there never is a shot of him making those straight cuts with that hand saw. He only shows starting and finishing the cut. So I have doubts but can't say one way or the other.
ANIMAL MOTHER DK apparently you know nothing about Chinese woodworking. This is not even that impressive compared to many carpenters I used to know and all they had were hand tools like that.
They probably disliked the music or that youtube recommended something they don't like watching. The fact you like it doesn't mean others will like it too.
As I once heard or read somewhere, expensive tools do not a craftsman make. It's the man who can take simple tools and make something truly amazing. That is a craftsman.
Grandpa Amu, my deepest respect for your skills. You are a “Jack of all trades and a master of everything “. Why all the fuzz with our electrical stuff in our western world. You show us what can be achieved with tools that already the carpenter from Nazareth used 2000 years ago. Thank you so much and kind regards from Germany
Des S... Gen Zs. The been nowhere, done nothing, got nowt and last in the alphabet. The boomers paid for you Zs all you're life and you're still whining. And those verbal skills can only come up with the put down 'OK boomer'? What next a rap slur?
非常感谢你! I laughed out loud and cried. This video take me back 50 years to my father making similar toys for me using almost the same tools but under cool shade oaks and maples in the USA. Also we lived in Guangzhou 5 year. Best 5 years. I so much miss GZ and father. Thank you for refreshing the memories
@S̝E̝N̝A̝T̝O̝R̝ A̝G̝R̝A̝P̝A̝ the guangzhao from back then compared to now is completely different. Many of the small villages are either disappearing or gone already, so unless you have family there you wouldn't know where to go. One of the sad truths of industrialization.
I am in AWE of this man. I spent over $1000 to build a work bench and add a vice and lights and shelves and all sorts. He's using a plank and his foot. Simply amazing.
eso va mas alla querido, son los recuerdo que le quedaran al niño. mama. papa del niño, a los hijos del señor, yo comente en otro video, que estos videos valen oro. por solo ver, y ver a tu familiar. a tu ser querido otra vez.
well, you could make what he made in an hour while his toy more and likely took him half the day. though you know the work he put into it has more heart and sentimental value because of it. his grand kid will look at his own kids and tell them about grandpa Amu made toys. hopefully his grand kid will learn from him
I dunno exactly why my tears dropped. Its like i remembered something when the grandpa made a toy for his grandson because he cant afford it for him. Reminds me of my father.
Incredible. Absolutely astonishing craftsmanship your grandfather has. I really do like your videos especially with the little guy. He makes everything even happier
WOW! No bandsaw, no jigsaw, no electrical drill, no machine what so ever... RESPECT! I bow in front of this man. This is a whole new definition of „handmade“. Great video. Greetings from Switzerland 🇨🇭
@@nagamendo5655 you can hear he has at least an electrical band sander or something like that, as well as see the difference of surface after cutting and when he put them on the bench.
Because its fake as fuck like most chinese stuff he has machines in the back he shows no1 he does nothing by hand only assemble. THIS IS FAKE.Find me a bit where it does not skip when he is doing something he shows nothing getting finished by hand.
Wonderful how he brings forth life from a block of wood, which in turn brings joy to us and especially his wonderful and cute little grandson. I find it so relaxing to sit and watch in awe at this woodwork ninja that is Grandpa Amu. A hearty Thank you, Sir.
Gente esse senhor.... Merece prêmio do Oscar....Que dom maravilhoso...Com pouca ferramentas, tds manual ainda! Meus parabéns 👏👏👏👏 Deus abençoe! Sucesso 🙏
Grandpa Amu is an amazing and brilliant Grandfather...谢谢你的分享 Reminds me so much of my paternal grandfather, a (self taught) carpenter and cobbler by trade and used NO power tools as well. My father had inherited his manual tools, but all was lost from a devastating typhoon... It's so beautiful to witness that this *master art* still exists!
I have quite a few modern electric saws, sanders, and woodworking tools but I have never built anything as wonderful as that walking pig. I am truly humbled.
Grandpa Amu says "Y'all sit back and watch me make a toy with friction fit pieces... By Hand!!!" Thank You Grandpa Amu for sharing your wealth of knowledge!!!
The British could not complete economically with China, until they managed to smuggle opium into China. Later on, Opium Wars, Gun boat diplomacy, as well as internal rebellions further weakened China. The French incursions into Vietnam, which was once ruled by China. The French and British invasion, leading to the Burning of the Yuan MingYuan palace.
@@wentongxie9347 Ancient meaning? ? ? You should let your current and future families not use Chinese products, and then compare the convenience and efficiency of life with those who use Chinese products
The quality of made in China product is determined by the money the western retailers pays. The retailers set a low price for low quality, of course you are not getting good products. There are lots of high quality made in China products, it’s just more expensive than the ones from Walmart. You are getting what your paid for, that applies to anything, not just made in china
For those of you not familiar with wood sawing, these saw cuts are extremely difficult to do even with power tools. And hes doing it by hand and they are strait as can be. It's all in the way he's holding his saw. he must keep every stroke at the same angle. That not that hard to follow a pencil mark, but the one on the back side he cant see. Awesome craftsman
I just want you to know that my children love you. They range in age from 2 to 12 and they ask to watch "Pa Amu" make things. My 2 year old son is even enthralled with your videos. Thank you so much for sharing your talent with the world. You are appreciated.
First i thought, what will that be? It's great! When i was a kid, we had this in smaller size, made of plastic and that fascinated me a lot. Now i am an adult and your video fascinates me as well. I will try to built something for my grandson, too. Thank you for this video so much❤❤❤!!!
Dear Sir Amu .......you are an amazing craftsman , you have shown that we take it for granted the use of modern equipment , and perhaps unable to produce a toy of your quality , thank you for sharing your incredible talent Sifu .....
Beautifull, amazing work out of pure love for his grandson. I aspire to achieve this level of craftsmanship. Thanks a million for the images and the laughs of this child.
Omg..... I seen a few of his videos and this gentleman is truely amazing with his skills. I work on all sorts of equipment and machines but for some reason I watch these videos in aww......truely amazing to watch.
My grandfather made things for all the members of my family. They are some of our most treasured possessions. I hope your grandsons parents save all the things you make. You are a very beautiful person.
