Depends on the player, I personally always move my keeper on corners, which leads to my opponents doing the same, I still score like 60% of my corners, and like 95% of free kicks.

Everybody behind the gk in the box, they don't exist. Literally the gk is always the last player in defense.

Last man back is usually the keeper, but because the keeper went ahead of the defender, that changes the last man back from the keeper too the defender, meaning the keeper becomes the offside line

EA definitely tweaked the game with a live update. Keepers are crazy good. The power shot not as good. Aiming shots also got tweaked. I've been going wide or hitting post
