Hi there, Luke. Tony from Italy. I'm spending my time at home, since the lockdown.. But i'm glad that you're here with your videos, so i'm not complain too much. Life is good, man. Life is good.

I was going through cancer treatments and surgery, so I stuck close to home. I've been cancer free since July of 2022.

Being stuck in...I put my headphones in & sit in a dark room & watch your videos. Its like going camping in my mind! Ty👍

Your work is massively appreciated the effort can be seen in every shot. Not doing much in the UK right now and found out last night my grown up daughter has the virus, she's a carer in a dementia home and caught it there. I've been out of work for five weeks. I have also not been in the grocery store for four weeks. I've been living off of my pantry... and will be dipping into my hiking supplies of camp food if push comes to shove. I was passing the time hiking on my local trail until it became too crowded with people three weeks ago. I have been in my house for the past 20 days and getting a little bit of cabin fever, only to leave the house to get the mail. I've been living vicariously through your videos. Keep them coming.

My husband and myself are recovering from the virus. He has been 8days in ICU. We hope this is over soon . We are feeling blessed . So ready to eat back to life.

Thanks for another great adventure. Wish we could have seen the stars as you could. Stuck in lockdown here in Georgia, but being retired at least working from home is not an issue. I broke my right leg crossing a creek stepping stone to stone just like you. My foot went down between 2 big rocks that wobbled, I fell saw my leg break! Landed in the freezing cold water had to lay there till the rangers came to rescue me. A bad spiral fracture in my tibia and fibula. 5 months in a cast.... like March to the end of august. So be careful .

Well Luke I’ve been working in a community garden which I joined 3 weeks ago no gardeners have showed up so I lock myself in and grow some food and straighten out the garden alot of work and a good work out having a blast to tell you the truth love it ,, so Luke be well be safe stay healthy ,,happy trails ,,😋👍🏻

I was camping in the snow a couple months ago (7200’ elevation) with some friends. Just like you, the day was gorgeous with a gentle breeze blowing. Wind gusts up to 35 mph with lows in the 20s were forecast to start in the wee hours of the morning. Well...the forecast was wrong! Wind gusts over 100 mph (according to the weather service in Reno, NV) hit the area we were in - and a gust of 209 mph hit Kirkwood Ski Resort less than 10 miles from us. It was CRAZY. The wind flattened my tent on more than one occasion that night. I took video because I felt like no one would believe me. It felt like demons were beating on the tent. Needless to say, we all packed our gear and got the heck out of there. The way back was...interesting. A couple in the group were knocked over by the gusts on the way up the ridge. Trees were falling all over the place.

Since the pandemic started, I've been working more hours since I'm an essential worker. Doesn't leave much for family life and of course enjoying the great outdoors. I'm ready for a weekend vacation trip into the woods! The one good thing about working a lot of pandemic OT, is the new gear I can afford now!

I love two things military aviation (Ex apache maintainer) and the outdoors, you are by far my favourite outdoor RU-vidr. Always excited when I get a notification of an upload by yourself. Also I'm a huve fjallraven fan and considering the poncho. Would be cool to see u demonstrate it in its tarp mode as well as normal poncho mode. All the best and stay safe guys James (UK)

Working in the military. It’s business as usual. Off duty I just go into the woods fishing and hiking. Stay safe and thanks for all the good videos Luke.

I was touched by the baby bird. Several years ago we had a few tornadoes go through my neck of the woods. In any event, we lost several large limbs on our property. I found a baby bird and didn't know what it was. I took it in and nursed it back to health. It turned out to be a baby Blue Jay. I slowly released that bird to the wild. After it was finally out of the house, every-time it saw me outside it landed on my shoulder. It was the coolest bird until I saw on day it had a mate. I was so happy for it and I never saw that Blue Jay again.

I spent a cold windy night at Thomas Knob shelter a few years ago on a late October trip. The wind was incredibly strong even though I set up in a small clearing surrounded by trees. I stayed awake most of the night as the wind pushed my tent over and threatened to break my poles. The only thing I could do was sit up in my sleeping bag and hold on to the tent.

Hi from the UK, we went into self isolation a week before our government told the rest of the UK it was on lockdown on the 23/03/20 I've not been outside since the 14 of March, my partner has COPD and a heart condition and I've got diabetes so we have another 9 weeks in lockdow, watching as many videos on RU-vid, so grateful for all the hard work people like yourself do for people like us. Once they develop a vaccine, the situation will improve tremendously. I am "gifted with age" and I remember the polio crisis in the fifties. We got through that, and we will get through the corona virus. Hang in there everyone.

I work in IT in London. Since before lockdown I have been isolated, as I had a slight cough, so have been locked down for nearly four weeks in a small apartment. It has been super boring, but I have got a lot of PC games to play, so could be worse. I would love to just get out of the city, but not possible. Appreciate the videos Luke, Suzie and fam!

I love to see isolated camps in rain. Just love to hunker down and hear it and enjoy the solitude. Love it for more rainy camping. I appreciate all the backtracking you have to do to film this and it's marvelous. It is a good deal more work, to show you moving past the camera, for you.

I've been sorting and resorting my hiking and camping gear in hope of a trek to Eldorado County in early May. Also, I am making 'DIY' hand sanitizer and giving to friends and neighbors. Man I love your videos, they are very in depth and a lot of fun to watch especially when the circumstances do not allow me to get out! I spent one night like that in a secret spot of mine, sky was lemon yellow at 8pm, trees looking as though they could all fall over because of how intense the wind was. In the forest I was in I will say it was a bit sketchy, but the experience will definitely stick with me forever. Again thanks for all your content we all appreciate it!

Working every day on the railroad trying to get products to people love the adventure

Well I’m one of the fortunate ones who is still working in the Colorado Resort industry, our department alone furloughed over 50 full and part time workers. I feel so bad for them, it’s not a paid furlough. Other than that, hanging at the house BBQ’n, getting out at least once a week. This weekend got the kayak out. That was quite refreshing. Again blessed to be working still while literally millions are not. My thoughts and prayers are with you all!!

I'm home in self isolation since March 13 here in Portugal. Just stepped out a few times.. maybe 4 I think for supplies etc. Funny things: teeth infection 1 / got food poisoning / got hurt in my back to the point I couldn't move aaaaand me and my wife separated... on the positive side I quit smoking and no covid 19. Hey Luke. Great video. I'm unable to work although I'm still being asked. I'm in SE PA and we're in lockdown if you want to call it that. Currently working on fixing my rental property, being a teacher to my kids, trying to stay sane and watch your videos.

I'm from England, we're still on a semi-lockdown. Essential & key workers are allowed to go to work. We're allowed to go shopping for essential items & allowed to exercise outside once a day as ling as you keep 2 metres from anybody who you don't live with & can only drive if it's essential. So I've just been walking & cycling to my local nature reserve a few minutes from my home so I don't need to take the car. I've been garden "wild camping" hehe a few times just for a change to mix things up a bit. Glad to have your adventures to watch to keep me entertained. Keep them coming but also stay safe & well xx

Here in the UK (I'm in London which has been the worst hit) we've been under lockdown for over a month now and your videos have been keeping me going! Unfortunately we don't have the vast open spaces that some of you folks have in the US and elsewhere in Europe, and I live in London which is nowhere near our national parks anyway!! But even for those in the Lake District, the Scottish Highlands, and all those kind of places the lockdown is being enforced and there simply isnt enough space for the number of people who would be hitting the trails. I imagine a few wild campers are getting out there but on the whole the population is following the rules and staying inside. I am DESPERATE to get out in my tent but for now your videos are the best I can get, so please keep them coming! Your dedication to the channel has never been more appreciated! Stay safe out there!

Practicing skills in backyard - knots, whipping rope ends, fire making w/ flint/steel, some carving in a new walking stick, crafting grill for camping from expanded metal, flat steel and angle brackets. Still working but decreased hours. Staying away from crowds as much as possible. From Southeastern NC

Well, I can't believe I finally saw you with a walking stick!! You can't be in the woods without one!! It's good for balance, probing for snakes in piles of wood, and for knocking down spider webs on the trail.

Hi Luke, have not watched your videos for some time now, got a lot to catch up to but it have been busy for me which is a blessing. Since the pandemic have been going on full blown I have been ....working! yes, the company I work for is global and we do commerce maintenance, or keep the commerce rolling, as they say, we are no heroes, real heroes are the doctors and authorities dealing with this thing day in and out, we are just a small help to it all, I was just training in Peachtree City near Atlanta, Georgia for 3 weeks and finished just in time they shut down the facility, while there I had my little piece of the east and the green that goes with it, although things are slowly closing everywhere, I had some wonderful hikes and also golf cart tours through some nice and upscale neighborhoods where the rich lives there; endless hiking trails through lots of wood, green, nice houses, golf courses and lakes all combined; a real paradise compared to living in a city like ours, it was a great escape from the desert where we live for a chance and that brought me again to wish I had time to hike some more or canoeing around here, hence why I am watching this one!..we supposed to self quarantine coming back to Nevada from out of State like many States are implementing now but since we are "essential to keep the economy rolling" no self quarantine for me, however, workday is slow and Las Vegas is a ghost town; never thought I would see the strip empty like it is now, it is a trip! I wanted to self quarantine and I would have gone the whole two weeks to the mountain here and stay there, LOL, we can ask for as much vacation as we want since our area is not that busy with service calls, so I am thinking a little escape of my own before all goes back to normal because when it is full steam there is not stop working; trying to make up for the lost time, and your videos are always a great source of inspiration. When I’m not at work (40-60 hour/week) I’m at lock down. I’ve been ordering new gear to make my back pack to be light weight. So when I can hike again I’ll enjoy it more.

My daughter, who is a driver for Uber and I, a retired Grandma, live together and have been inLockdown. We have enjoyed a simple, easy life locked in, with good food, good tv (yur videos), and trusting the God will see us through this until a remedy is found.
