I think we need to come up with a thought bubble of what Flicka is planning to do with Henson at 23 seconds . how's her expression and ears ....lolol I really enjoy the way you dont drive horses utterly crazy with endless hours of ground work in arenas and round yards . They just love the way you keep the vocals to a min, your expectations of them high, and often all ages seem to pair their behaviour with your expectations of them . I think these videos are a really important tool for reminding people about calmness around horses and how they thrive around it . Even your stallions get on board .lololo
Thank you Henson! On horsemanship I watch you and Steve Young. Steve is from the UK. You two are soooo different but amazingly the same. You need to know you are appreciated Henson! Thanks for being the camera woman……Danielle.
I'm a 75 year old guy that has been horse back all my life and I am so impressed with the way that you handle colts. I really enjoy your videos. thanks for all of your hard work to bring them to us out here......................
This horse is beautiful she has a pretty gait cantering. Really love seeing the horses being worked. Thank you for the hard work and making the videos appreciate it very much
Flicka is Flicka! Here owner will need to be on their toes! Flicka is strong willed, independent, and dominate by nature! Her lead issue is interesting...I think mind gets in the way; like she would rather be somewhere else? She doesn't seem to want to engage with her human. Henson has really done a good job with Flicka. He has been firm but kind to her quirky ways. He has brought her mind forward and hope her owner can continue with that.
Flicka is a beautiful girl 🎀 glowing with health and great muscle tone 💪 She's listening and really likes attention. Bravo Henson 🥳for all the work that you have done with Flicka!!!
Typical mare behavior to me. She wants to do what she wants to do and doesn't want to listen when she should. And this one is very opinionated, I might add. She's a smart one.
Always enjoy watching Henson at work and hearing him is awesome, you know I'm getting older and my ears were damaged from all that rock & roll.... hehehe The name Flicka takes me back to my childhood for it was that movie My Friend Flicka that turn me onto horses. Thanks Danielle for sharing... Love & Peace
I remember when you first got that bronc, I thought you've got your work cut out for you there, Tesla has come a long way, guess she'll likely be one that always needs work?
Flicka reminds me of a friends gelding from years ago! He never warmed up to his owber but by golly he was terrific at his job! He was one of Oregons best gaming horses for years....pole bending, scurry, keyhole and even barrels! Very steady and dependable!
