How is it one year is beyond me? People really be counting from the day they got selected. That's just vague. You should start counting from the day you graduated. Before graduating not many companies will give you joining anyway. In that sense most colleges have graduation date ranging from May - August. So its mostly 2-5 months of waiting till now. Before the pandemic the scene was same. It used to take 3-12 months to get joining from top MNCs.

I have some friends placed in accenture. They told me that thier company started onboarding in batches. It will take 2 or 3 month to onboard all the campus placed candidates of 2022 batch.
