Love the breakdown of this man. Was insanely well thought out. War's strength, Strife's range, Fury's magic and Death's overall balance of it all. Really shows his versatility.
Just to answer the question, it’s already stated in Genesis that Death is the most powerful of the Four Horsemen, even though the novel and his feats in the second game have sufficiently showcased this
Death is the most skilled, not strongest. The novel showcases that pretty well by revealing he effectively owned War in a battle and cut off his hand once, but also has Death see War lose control and go on a rampage later and think to himself he’s not sure he could stop War and survive when he gets like that. War is stronger than Death. Death is the better warrior. Which makes sense, he’s the oldest and most experienced by far. Why tf did I reply to an 8 month old message lol
IMO, Death >> Strife >> War >> Fury. Btw Death is most powerfull and War is strongest, but as Strife go with super speed range magic bullet attacks i think Strife can share 1st place with Death in 4 out od 10 times in 1 vs 1.
also death could use death grip and soul splitter if he ever needs health since when he uses soul splitter he regens health fast also idk if this is canon but i think he can use soul splitter and control both of his split souls since he could use both of his souls to use the keys to open the door to the well of souls
Fury in the comics was not trying to beat War and that wasn’t a 1v1. He was going Beserk on Earth while she was trying to talk reason and restrain him he took that opportunity to attack her with intent to kill. Context matters in this fight. She has a Havok form the same way he has a Chaos form. War has the edge for sure being tanky but he ain’t crushing Fury so easily the way you described when she’s beaten people of his fighting style and caliber main example, WRATH the most physical of the 7 deadly sins.
he still wins. In comics War stabbed him throught the torso(the whole Torso because chaoseater is massive) and death just stood there unfazed, cut of War's arm and pulled the sword out and healed almost instantly...
Yes that and in the novel strife angrily asks while having death at gunpoint why death thinks he can come back after 500 years of absence and just take command. The other horseman are of the same mind Death stares Strife down in front of the other two and asks “what makes you think I can’t?” None of them argue. War does disobey but it is made very clear that Death could kill him and the others if it came down it though he wouldn’t be unscathed and Death admits as much. It’s not that Death couldn’t kill them all it’s that it would be so difficult he’d rather not have to. Also he cares deeply for them all.
Isn't it a little bit unfair to say Force-Fury is not as strong as it is stated, despite she shows the feats on screen? Also, her magic is the ability to absorb other magic based powers to become more powerful. Which was explained by one of the devs, thats why she is unique to her siblings. The power Envy absorbed from Fury gained her the ability to form her own versions of the Horsemen weapons in the first place.
Well death is the strongest it's pretty much confirmed. I mean War stabbed him in the chest with Chaoseater and death cut of his hand and just took the sword out and healed instantly...
i disagree with the rock paper scissor analogy. War said in Genesis it took all 3 of them to defeat him and Strife was weary of fighting War. I do think Death was only stronger than War before War got the Armageddon Blade but regardless those 2 are way stronger than Strife and Fury
nah I think that even after the armagaddon blade Death still claps war. And War is by far my favorite horseman. Sadly Armagedon blade does not help war in the only way it matters vs death. Which is the speed and skill.
It didn’t take all 3 to defeat him they were not trying to defeat him. War was rampaging on the Earth so they went to get him back. They were trying to reason with and restrain him, he was attacking them to kill! That’s not 3vs1 that’s a dumbass little brother throwing a tantrum at his older siblings.
