I just got into Primer 55, they're like a cross between 311 and early Deftones, who are my biggest favorites so there was no way i wouldn't become a fan!
Saw these guys open for Machine Head in March 2000 in Dallas.....really enjoyed them and, though I never liked Limp Bizkit, I did enjoy this band and others like Stuck Mojo and one of the og bands of this genre....Hed-Pe. Hed-Pe has some absolute bangers, and Stuck Mojo's Pigwalk album was sick asf. This Life is another by Primer you may like.

Nu metal sub genre name, grunge, rapcore, metalcore, popcore, punkcore, raggaemetal, screamo, emo, you name it... all types of music mashup genre with heavy riff... but it different with death metal, black metal, white metal, heavy metal, speed metal, glametal, punk, rock, those also got heavy melodic riff... so good luck differentiate them. LoL
It would be nice if you would listen to bands from Australia please. Sydonia - 3 tongues. This band and song is a must. Also try karnivool - Goliath. Two of my favourites bands from Australia, karnivool will be touring Europe this year, cant wait!!!
Sev!!!! I told ya bro!!! Its called NU METAL this style of music. Korn and LimpBizkit and Deftones and this band as well. Yes sadly they were pretty much a 1 hit wonder. This was there biggest hit.
This song ain't that good, most songs on the first album are better To sev - Try these nu metal bands - shuvel, soulfly, flaw, hinge, crazy town, five foot thick
@@New_Jax_City I didn't say that but i think some of primer 55s music hasn't aged well. Butterfly is a nice song not sure why you hate it. Check out skulls and stars, toxic etc
@@51-73-i6w ohh no no. I dont hate it. I graduated in 1999 that music is my music. And its a great song. Much like primmer55. Shifty and crazytown didnt make it as far as they should have. Both bands have more than 1 good song. But unfortunately LOOSE and BUTTERFLY are what there remembered for. And stacking butterfly up against loose is 2 different things.
