There is a Lhoist plant in Henderson NV, served by a UP industrial spur. I enjoyed this video too because I lived in Oak Ridge for 22 years.

Drayton i think this has really made the folks at SARM feel like they have a future and purpose its amazing what God blesses us with is much of the unexpected. Mybe theyll get to run their engines too mybe on lhoists tracks

The Fort Ogelthorpe, Budd built, was originally part of the Central of Georgia "Man 'O War" passenger train that ran between Atlanta and Columbus, GA. All cars of the consist named for US Military forts in GA and of course the train name was influenced by the fact that a lot of the passengers would be military traffic to the huge Fort Benning complex outside Columbus.

I was lucky enough to make the trip from Crossville to Chattanooga twice back in the early 80’s. Travelled down, stayed the night at the Choo Choo Hotel, then returned to Crossville the next morning.
