Absolutely okay. Some women can't relive their trauma and some find it cathartic and to know they are not alone. YOU get to decide how to deal with your trauma. No one else. Sorry you went through all that, mama!!! 💕
Well clearly you haven't even read the book because if you did you'd know that the author didn't romanticize violence or abuse, as one who's seen it happening irl, i completely relate with and understand the book and i can assure you it's not promoting or romanticising abuse.
I’m an ex domestic violence survivor and I will still watch this but every time I watch something about domestic violence the anxiety and the anger comes out. I want to just jump into my tv or movie theater and go after the violent person
