We're done with siding, as far as we can for now. There is one more wall left but we are planning on adding an addition so it doesn't make sense to start that wall until we have the roof to stand on. We also take down some trees in preparation for building on our new lot.

I got one of those saws from Home Depot years back I think it was $300 and the box said extended 12 feet I got it put it all together and the thing only extended 8 feet maybe was going to take it apart and take it back but I couldn't get it back apart again complained about Home Depot took the picture of the box it said 12 feet they didn't do anything I think it meant 12 feet counting how tall you are i'm only 5 foot 3 Made the mistake of taking it to work to help out my boss prune the trees around the road for him burnt it out plus my hand pruner broke and he never even offered to pay for it or get it fixed he was so cheap that's what you get for trying to help your employers out He was the reason I had a stroke at work because 24th of May weekend was coming up all the trailers needed to be fixed had no parts to fix them and they all complain at me not at him he used to run and hide

You're getting very good at backing that trailer up on that bike that is not an easy thing to do the shorter the reach on the trailer the harder it is to back up on my utility trailer that I built I put a real long reach on it so it wouldn't jackknife all the time way easier to back up I found when I pulled rvs to campgrounds the bigger the trailer the easier it is to park in the hard spots they wanted you to park them in got very good at it after 15 years of pulling them my boss used to deliver trailers and he got us kicked out of two campgrounds because he damaged trailers god sold the RV campgrounds would only let me pull trailers in And the biggest thing is when he damaged a trailer he wouldn't admit it was him one time I told a trailer into the Kitty Coleman campground the family campground and you had to go around a tree to get in there I set it up very hard because it was on a hill so had to block it up so high on one side he went and picked it up ripped the awning right off the trailer backed it into the shop and said he didn't do that the rv boss laughed because he never admitted anything he has wrecked picnic tables because he's backed right into them with trailers put depict in tables bath together so they looked fine campground point homes he bent their power pole by putting the pop out and when the campground wanted him to pay for it he refused so we weren't allowed the hour RV's there any more and he got mad what a man robert from Courtney Carr Center shouldn't talk about a man that died right oh wow hope you don't come out of his grave and get me🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Everyone who thinks or feels God doesn't care, is indifferent and or mean etc …. Why is the world as it is, evil everywhere… where is God and His faithfulness… God does judge sin which is evil and if people don't stop sinning they will die for that disobedience,that sin. When God said if you take from that tree you will die He was saying if you disobey, you sin, I will punish that sin because God does punish it, sickness, demons and death. And if you keep sinning I will punish you to the point of death, is that punishment. Sickness is a consequence of sin and it is a judgement God makes upon the people for their sin. All sickness takes its toll on the body and will result in death unless you stop sinning and that brings a reward from God for the righteous decision to stop sinning that brought that illness. Throughout scripture God tells us these things. God does love and there is mercy in His punishment too. He chastises those He loves. His wrath doesn't mean He doesn't love, it doesn't mean there is no mercy, it means He puts His law first and He obeys it first. He punished sin and then punishes sin and so forth and if someone doesn't stop sinning or sins more then that judgment is death just as He said, sin is death. Scripture says we are all responsible for working out our salvation with fear and trembling. Seek scripture, learn who He is and what He said to obey and do it. if you obey Him you live in blessings just like Deuteronomy 28 says and it also says disobedience is curses, that's sickness, demons possibly and again to continue in sin results in death. God told all the details, and paid for us to get out of sin and how we should live and when people don't live righteous then the world looks like it did in the days of Noah, violence, drunkenness and such lovers of self, pleasure and all sin and life apart from God, life in disobedience to God. Why should He bless sin? He punishes it then punishes sin more if someone keeps sinning. Is it tough people die from that choice they make, their sin and lack of seeking God to obey what He said, yes it hurts. How do you think God feels, He loved the world so much He gave His only begotten son and Yeshua died in agony for us to be out of that sin, taking God's wrath upon Himself so how do I think He feels, grieved so grieved but I know from scripture He always obeys what His word says, He never changes and that includes every word He said. Now Yeshua took God's wrath upon Himself for our sin Isaiah 53. We get peace with God and can come before Him to be heard and we get to be cleansed from our iniquities, sin. Just like the lamb sacrifices in the old testament Jesus was that for us a peace offering and forgiveness offering. We get freedom from that sinful past, from that sin and we get our healings because His stripes healed us from the consequences of sin. He gave us a way out. A way to start again out of that wrath. How loving is that God gave us His son who took God's wrath for us out of love. How loving just how loving is our God who made a way for us to be out of that wrath? Wrath we deserved by our sin and continued sin. But God so loved the world He gave us Yeshua. Yeshua gave His life to rise to life for us to give us new life. A new creation to begin again a new life, having been born again. Having received forgiveness for sin and a pardon from God's wrath, that very wrath you talk about. But God gave us a way out of His wrath when Yeshua our lamb paid for our sin. Again how loving is that our way out of God's wrath. Our new life. Our second chance to live rightly before our Holy righteous God our being born again to live right because God planned for us to not all receive His wrath yet His son for everyone, one for everyone and a way out, pardoned and free to live life righteous whole healed delivered, how loving oh so very loving that is. All that is in scripture too. Seek and find, learn who He is and obey and see more of it. Mark 4:24 the more you obey God the more He reveals to you, it means that. Matthew 6:33 live it daily and understand who He is and just how loving He always is and honestly how loved you are will be seen felt and KNOWN too. 💕 May you come to understand Him all your days seeking and finding and growing in the knowledge of God in Yeshua's name 💕

Hey Greg and Katie, I'm just watching your video for this week. And you all have a fire going outside. It reminded me about what Katie said about yo all having fires up there and therefore your choice of masonry siding. I was thinking: 'Why don't you all have a large reserve water tank up there for emergencies, such as, a fire happening in the trees and other sheds that are built completely out of wood, then you'll be able to connect you pump and hoses to it to fight any fire that just might happen, unexpectedly. who knows if or when you just might be unlucky and a fire is sparked on your property.

@hubertwebb9869
@hubertwebb9869 7 месяцев назад
Katie, have you thought about buying more large water tanks, enough that if you fill them when the water is flowing well in the creeks you get enough to last all year. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ (Jesus) Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God; Romans 3:25-31 King James Version 25 Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God; 26 To declare, I say, at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus. 27 Where is boasting then? It is excluded. By what law? of works? Nay: but by the law of faith. 28 Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law. 29 Is he the God of the Jews only? is he not also of the Gentiles? Yes, of the Gentiles also: 30 Seeing it is one God, which shall justify the circumcision by faith, and uncircumcision through faith. 31 Do we then make void the law through faith? God forbid: yea, we establish the law.

Hello Katie, at 32:24 may I suggest that you don't throw your heavy logs so far into your trailer? The impact will cause cracks that will worsen over time. It's better to bring the trailer closer together, make a first protective layer with the nearest logs (no need to throw them). This applies to all kind of materials arriving at high speed in any container. Thanks for your video and good luck with your projects.

And just like that, more lumber to mill for the addition, yay! 🎉😂 I’m glad that the goats went to a good home, I subscribed to both channels, and the house looks so beautiful and complete now! ❤ I know you probably have plans for the upper deck, but have you ever thought about some solar panels up there, with rain catchment to an ibc tote below, and maybe a small propane heater to melt the snow off them? Not covering your entire top deck because I know you want to grow things up there, but maybe mount the top to the edge of your upper deck, the bottom to the lower deck, and it could shade the lower deck from the snow and give you rain water at the same time? Just a thought. Love you guys and have a great weekend! 😊❤

Katy-Kat. You’ve got to wear safety glasses while using that saw to cut siding. I love your videos! But I’d hate to see you lose an eye!

You guys need to get it together. Poor planning makes doing stuff over a pain and expensive. Too young to be always taking a day off.

Those pole saws also work well for skipping off branches on felled trees. Not so noisy and easier to trim off the small branches.

The house is looking great, so when do you plan to start building the additional shed and one part of the shed that you guys took off the bus when it was there why make another to it to make the whole shed so you have something for tools and stuff?
