I know it was scary, but thank you for playing this and letting us watch. I never would have been able to play it, and I feel like it adds a nice chunk of lore to the universe. It sure works better than Alien 3 did. It's probably not canon, but it was still a hell of a story. And yes, you should watch the first two movies. They actually explain some stuff you see in the game. Also, most surreal moment: you explaining reproductive biology to what I can only imagine were trolls, cause otherwise they are very, very stupid. 😹 Best wishes for your move.

Straight from IGN "The Flare is good for lighting up dark rooms and areas, but it can also be thrown and used as a distraction. Even the Alien takes interest in its glowing light!" However, IGN is wrong on about Smoke Bomb. From "thegamer' it says, "Players can avoid detection alone with enough effort, but when one finds themselves suddenly cornered by a vent-traversing Xenomorph, a smoke bomb does come in handy." BUT you need the V3 blueprint. You can be within inches of the Xeno in that smoke. As long as you don't touch it, it won't see you.
