There is no need for the hateful mean spirited comments. This is a young man with his life ahead of him. He is inspiring himself. Hard life he did not have, U say? Certain elements of his life, sure they came easy. But no one has walked in his shoes. He was over weight and yes he may have had surgery. But that is one aspect of it. He still struggled with himself and I am sure he had many days in his life he may have wondered if it was worth it... His Dad and Mom handling and raising him had nothing to do with him being flamboyant or gay for that matter. This world would be in better shape if we nurtured challenged and support all youth regardless of who they are, came from, etc Only then, will humanity raise the bar and create a better generation to take on the worlds challenges

I would not say coming out was necessarily easy to him because this process is always a Pandora box, besides he doen't exactly fit racial and body norms. However, there's an undeniable element of class involved in this "getting better" that cannot be left aside if we want to grasp the whole picture here. This "be what you wanna be", "wear what you wanna wear" and "not care what other people think" rethoric is easiER to be sustained when one is in a situation like his, i. e. rich and living in this Beverly Hills environment. From his frivolous and hyper protected social bubble, he's definitely not a template for most people struggling with many issues related to discrimination. In this case, what is ironic with the assertion "it gets better" is that what many consider "betterment", in other words reaching a more favorable situation in life, to him has been handed out from birth. What he got better from is, from start, an extremely privileged position.
