feel your pain at the end of a good long tour. I never want it to stop. Starting a bicycle ride frome key west to Maine next week. Ill yo the cows for you.
Fact is Seismic will reach out to him but the miles he put on them has already been done Chad is another person who has shown the quality of there wheels but on a side note most wheels are made by only a couple manufacturers and they make them to spec and label the for that specific brand
@@JustAnotherHumboldtKid would be nice to have a study. u know, for shits n titts. honestly i engineer, manufacture and weld jet engines and aero space and to me, seems like there was either a chemical makeup, mfg or design failure happened somewere allong the line . seems weird to me. for the material to fracture like these did. i had a simular problem with my spitfire 80HD wheels a few years ago.i marked off to chemical makeup. did he break down why he went with these?
@@patirckozz I been in the skate scene for close to 30 years i know the people behind alot of brand and Seismic is actually relatively new to the game. I have downhill raced on a pro level for over 25 of those years and the part of Research and Development is actually a trial and fail until you find what you like and I can tell you personally that most if not all that info is kept close and that's for a lot of reasons and the reason Chads wheels have lasted so long is the center is harder than the outside layer and that could be the way they were designed or do to pressure from riding mixed with the heat of the distance and environment that the wheel is subjected to. To most they'll say that's opinion but I ain't most I been in the Game along time
Anyone else getting anxious that there won't anymore daily updates? Congrats on the adventure and bringing us along with ya. Been watching since California!
I tell my skatepark friends about your journey and they say man I wanna do something now. Same feeling I have. I also spread that you are sober and vigilant. Thanks bro!
Homie finishes a 3,000 mile trip and the RU-vidrs are demanding a final video at 9am. Ever occur to any of you that you should be patient and let him enjoy the moment?
I've visited the US a couple of times from Australia and mostly spent time around the cities. Watching these videos has shown me how scenic and diverse the country is, in ways the media just never captures. The highlight has been seeing the impact it's had on people who come out and share their story, and even non-skaters, they can all in some way relate.
Chad, what I love most about you is how unfalteringly upbeat and optimistic you are. You’re an absolute inspiration. I’ll be sad when this adventure comes to an end… maybe you should come to Europe next 😅 Massive respect bro x
I read it had to happen and immediately thought about the wheels. That would have been a bummer. Wish I could be there tomorrow but I’m in the UK. I will raise a non alcoholic lager after I’ve seen the last episode. 👊🏻
There’s so much to learn from this journey beyond the obvious cause of promoting sobriety. Enjoying nature, enjoying being alone, and discovering that there are good people all the way across this country are good examples
Let’s go! Dude, not only are you crushing it on this trip, but you’ve also discovered your minor superpower: “Cow Whispering.” It’s so great to see how you get them to run after you!
Congratulations, my friend! You got this! You can do this! PLEASE PLEASSE PLEASSSE know that if you fall off, get back up! Stumbles do not have to keep you down. May God Bless you and keep you in his Graces!🙏🏻💕
Hi Chad thanks for sharing your journey and caring about issues surrounding mental health and addiction. My adult son whose 30 and I have really enjoyed watching your videos and having something fun to talk about with each other. He no longer lives at home but I still enjoy learning about who he likes to follow on social media. Seeing so many places I have not yet had the chance to visit was also pretty cool. You are a really good guy and your honest and down-to-earth personality makes you pretty darn likable. You are helping people more than you can imagine. K
Yo, thank you for the adventure, meeting the American people. They are Cool. The endless beautiful countryside animals and wilderness never shown in skatevids or television shows. Your ride across the land is worthy of Native Honours, the respect of the global skateboard community, and finally my gratitude as you have set the third corner stone in my struggle to calm down the "Chronic." Wish you a safe arrival. Congratulations Chad.
First couple days I was worried about you, running out of water in the desert was an eyebrow raiser but you seem to have really learned a lot. I think you’d dig backpacking/through hiking.
Agreed. That was the first day I found this series! I also got worried for his well being and ability to complete this a safely but he proved to us he’d do it!❤
This has been such an adventure for us all, I can't imagine how it must have been for you. Thank you for doing this, and for WHY you're doing this. I'm not trying to air my old dirty laundry online, but it means a lot.
Incredibly inspiring, dude! I've been sober 4 years myself and I'm skating at 42 years old, "feeling like a kid again". I'm sure this story will help a lot of people out there that are struggling. Respect. I hope to meet you sometime down the road.
I hope you were able to find what you were looking for in this awesome adventure you went on. Im going to have my step brother meet you out Neptune Park. Stay safe man not much longer at all!
dont yall dare drink at this mans party he worked too hard for this awarness !!!! much love chad ive been 6 months clean from drinking and smoking and it great to see youre journey come to an end wish i can catch the live stream if there is one but man lots of respect !
I want to say CONGRATS so PROUD OF YOU! This is very inspiring uplifting and it gets my creative juice flowing. Once again, thank you for taking this challenge.
Congrats Chad! Incredible inspiration. You inspire me to work harder and stay positive. I've been enjoying cruising distances with 85a wheels for some time but since following you I bought some 54mm 78a wheels and have been taking much longer rides.. nothing like what you are doing here in a day but even 8k or so is a good wee workout.. Especially when the roads are rougher or there are features to do small tricks on as you pass. Stoked you completed this and for a brilliant cause too. Best wishes to you from Scotland!
What's my future evenings gonna look like without your trip updates! Thanks for this awesome project. Was a honour to watch it! And enjoy the last ride.
You brought up the point about all the quiet reflection time you’ve had on your trip, I’m interested to see if you try to find a way to keep some of that in your life when you go back home.
So stoked for you, Chad! Can’t wait to see what you do next. I did a long bike tour a few years ago and I can remember how grounded I felt for so long after the trip was over. A story you can share forever.
Really wish we had a live feed of the next few hours as you roll in to an abudance of love, support and hopefully some moos!...2:50 east coast RN but an early congratulations to you from your NC fans dude! Thanks for taking us all on the journey with you.❤
I've loved watching you and your journey. You're a great teacher, showing the power of kindness and clarity and spirit. You put a smile on my face. I'm so glad you made it through!
Unbelievable man. I was lucky enough to catch this from the beginning having watched some of your earlier content. So happy for you. What a great part of your life and thanks for sharing. Big thanks
You’re an amazing guy, Chad. I’m really going to miss these daily updates. Every time I was having a crappy day, I would be like, “nice, I’ve got Chad’s video to watch tonight.” Those 10-15 min videos really brightened my day. Best of luck to you man and looking forward to the next adventure! 🤘
Good luck tomorrow! Hopefully the rain isn't too much of a hindrance. Have fun navigating the last bit. If you take the Elizabeth River ferry from Portsmouth to Norfolk it'll be safest compared to the Jordan Bridge.
I know by now you have already finished. Congratulations man and thanks for the ride along. You have definitely inspired a lot of people to do many different things and that’s a huge accomplishment in itself. You know, other than SKATING ACROSS AMERICA!!! Much love!!!!
Ive really enjoyed this, I was lucky this popped up on my youtube feed like day 5 or 6 in the California desert, Its just amazing all the cool people and animals you encountered along the way. Gives me some hope for the world!!
Wow! The urge to just keep goin is gonna be tough. Not just to finish but you're conditioned to do so. Stopping is gonna be hard. Killer odyssey man! Killer odyssey.
Well done, mate. Seriously awesome achievement. Enjoy your final cruise to the finish line. I hope there's a decent turnout for you. I'd be there if I wasn't on the other side of the world. Bravo

😢I'm sad that its going to end. What am I going to have to look forward to when I get up in the afternoon 😊. I guess I'll have to get a JOB . Oh well. Tomorrow will be epic! I'm gonna miss you Chad. Thanks for your efforts!
