When you charge fees and many people cannot afford, that is when a lot of people drop off the formal education system and become "half educated". Consequently, free education serves as a means of taking away that barrier in order to help people to go through the formal education system to prevent the production of many half educated people. Unless you have some weird definition of half education, I don't see how Free SHS will lead to the production of half educated people. This is because once the child is in school, he would be taught what he needs to be taught according to the syllabus. Or maybe to you, the teachers will refuse to cover the syllabus simply because the government is sponsoring the cost of educating the child or what? I don't get you.

We payed school fees to go to SHS, but we had challenges like the food wasn'tgood and lack of physics teacher to teach but we still went through, so are you tell me the school system wasn't good back then when we used to pay school fees
