Our government backed by most MPs have jumped head first into net zero targets without a plan or any idea of cost. We have shutdown most of our fossil fuel production when renewables are probably a decade away from coping on their own if ever. When you moving house you do not move to your new house until it is ready. Even worse I expect in the coming years there will be new ways become available for generating energy and all our expensive wind turbines and solar panels will be obsolete.

Cost around £2,000 billion. Plus we need 30,000 gwh of stored backup, Or 1,000 Coire Glas storage systems. Cost around £2,000 billion.
