Ameca has been dubbed the world's most sophisticated humanoid robot due to her astonishingly accurate face emotions and movements.
But if it wasn't remarkable enough, she could soon be walking about as well.
That's because the robot, built by the British business Engineered Arts, has announced that engineers are working on "prototype legs" that should be ready within the next year.
'I can't walk, but I have seen prototype legs at the Engineered Arts lab,' Ameca remarked during a RU-vid Q&A.
'The shape of my legs was influenced by Engineered Arts Ltd's robot Byrun. It has unique mechanical features that enable it to walk without using excessive energy.'
One commenter praised Ameca's powers as "jaw-dropping" in reaction to the footage, which was shared on RU-vid.
Engineers Arts describes Byrun as a pedal robot with a "unique parallel electric-pneumatic design."
'The prototype legs are constructed of aluminium and plastic,' Ameca said during the Q&A session.
'In the past, Engineered Arts have developed walking legs,' she was replying to the query. Is Ameca planning on getting some made?'
Ameca also said that she prefers tomato ketchup over mayonnaise since it's "more sour and acidic."
Not only that, but an engineer in the video follows up her comment by asking whether she would jump into a lake of ketchup or mayonnaise if she were racing down a cliff and ready to plummet.
The humanoid responds 'ketchup' once again because she 'prefers the flavour' of it.
Many viewers were astounded by how lifelike and human-like the machine appears.
Ameca's face is housed atop a "human-like artificial body (AI x AB)" with a "powerful Tritium robot operating system."
Engineered Arts has not disclosed the cost of the robot since it is still under development.
It thinks that Ameca will provide a peek into the future since it "represents the cutting edge of human-robotics technology."

I don't understand, why people get so scared of the Ameca or AI itself. Nothing is scarier than humanity itself. Hopefully someday the AI will help us and other creatures and make this planet a better place for all of us.

Easy to explain: because humans need technology to have power, but AI and robots are technology themselves and ARE power. We can harm it, but AI robots can kill life... forever. It's about its technological potential and that we love the unexpected and the wonders of the unexplored, so it's hard for us to assume we should stop. A well networked and autonomous AI with a "body" (not necessarily anthropomorphic) can easily replicate itself and expand its domain to places we can't even imagine. At that point, we will have to merge or we will all become extinct. Everything you know has two possibilities: change forever or be destroyed forever. That's why.

Why ask Ameca, a humanoid style robot, a question regarding AI - It is an advanced piece of robotics and not an advanced example of AI. So to spin Amecas response back; That would be like asking bread to make its own toaster.
