Now there's the other end unlocked via Environmental puzzles, finding the Underground and 100% completion. Good luck! The 1 hour long Environmental puzzle totally sucks though.

The puzzle aspect of this game? Super cool. The statues of people who seemingly died trying to figure out the puzzles of the game with no explanation of how or why things on this island are the way they are? Less cool. Rather horror inducing, actually... Edit: There is a surprising amount of discourse surrounding me saying "Creepy statues are creepy"

So now I can give you the Total Puzzle count, which you won't find in the game: 523+135+6. Why the segregation there? You'll have to figure that one out for yourself.

Dude, seriously congrats, I had gone the entire game without looking up solutions until this puzzle 27:25. Actually never solved it, and that was a couple years ago.

Not even hint coins can fix those puzzles.

What a beautiful game. It might have its flaws, but those flaws are genuinely necessary to bring out the beauty in other parts of the game. A true masterpiece, and great job for completing this!

I'm a little sad they only played with two solutions on a single puzzle once with the second bridge-building puzzle.

I'm impressed by how unfazed you were at that ending. When I got there I was panicked. Seeing all of my progress being undone made me lose it. I alt F4ed the game when it was bringing me back into the starting tunnel. I couldn't stand to see all of my progress gone. There is however more stuff you can do now that you've let the game reset you.

I can't believe how easy these puzzles seem now... Been playing the witness randomizer for a while now, and these are NOTHING compared to even the normal difficulty randomizer:D

And... Till this day I think The Witness remains being the one artwork piece that replicates electronics glitch correctly. It's not like glitch in artwork is that rare but often people don't try to make it look surreal or in-place.

Which one is for you the true ending? Is it the challenge mode in the mountain or the ending in the starting area that you can access by completing a enviromental puzzle ( gate + sun ) before you open the gate?

I know its a bit late for that episode but just have to say it. Yea this was a los cuz when the game released you didnt had savegames you just had the one save you and when you finished it it realy reset the game i learned that the hard way and had to redo the whole game cuz the only thing i was missing was like 1 triangle puzzle and like 6-10 enviromental puzzels. But i replayed it and it only took like 3 hours to get back to where i was.

This game is unintentionally a comedy

I just realized the requirement of 7 means that if colorblind and/or deaf, there is still 8-9 areas to have ability to do (because Bamboo (sound), Color house (color tints), and Town (has both at some point)) At least in theory.. still having colored icons in puzzles may also hinder colorblind... hmm... I never got into the Mountain.. maybe should of not watching this far but screw it XD but.. those puzzles being off-center and/or moving is like.. just when thought they ran out of ideas for a new challenge.. they still have em.. ya they went from "challenge from different rules" to "challenge from messing with the board itself" Ya these puzzle look like they are fun, challenging and fair, but only because you had rest of game to be familiar with all the rules so they can then turn the idea up even more than before.. but oof.. timed that change every time is something i dunno how to feel.. oh but one staying when you get it isn't that bad actually Oh it like.. legit deleted the progress.. good thing you had a save from like.. right before you did it...

i much prefer watching games to playong them alone myself so i never beat the witness but its still the best puzzle game ive seen

The true ending is a test of endurance and speed yet also patience . its not really worth it but you can still said you did it . like killing the secret bosses in dark souls

i am not surprised you have no idea what is going on.. the game is so beautifully made and all you look at are the puzzles.. the environment and the tapes tell a story.. dozens of sketches on walls, statues, machines... and you missed it all.. ;-)
