I had to remove center console in order to remove and replace airbag module that is mounted in the center console, everything is well built and high quality
I have removed the usb socket and I do think the console has to come out. I did manage to remove the usb socket without splitting the console sections, but I think the console sections need to be split to get all the modules and wiring back in correctly. I'll try that in the next few days now that I removed it only after cutting the wires to the rear 12v socket and some sensor that is buried in the rear of the console.
