That's medschool sometimes. Happens to the best of us. Keep your head up high man you got this! Also, looking swoll! keep hitting the gym man you looking good haha
Happened to me at the end of last year. I ended up having to repeat the year. In my school we only have exams in the middle & end. If you fail, you repeat. I have to say, I am SO much better off for repeating. Things click a lot more and I'm with a new cohort who are so much nicer and easier to spend time with. I hope you pass. But, if you don't, it's not the end of the world. Take it from me. You will recover and ypu will be better for it. ❤
"Not as well as I thought I'd be doing" - Antonio, you also didn't think you would be in med school with *cancer*! Remember to give yourself grace. You will get through this, we all believe in you doctor!!
I have a new ultrasound pending. The masses may be solid cysts and benign. I should know in the next day or two. I'm still going to have the surgery regardless though. I'll post something soon.
So sorry that you are dealing with this diagnosis. Sending prayers! 🙏🏽 Diagnosed with severe asthma in my 2nd year, then lupus in my 4th year of grad school during my PhD program. The great thing about being in school at the time instead of working was that I could take the time off and just recover, although it cost a lot to maintain insurance coverage while I wasn't working. No shame in taking the time you need. 💜
@@StudentDoctorAntonioPatterson Mr Patterson, you need to take the time and pay close attention to the questions asked on the exam. Do not spend so much time trying to answer the questions correctly but instead you need to find out where the questions are coming from. Study the exams and methods used to create them. Pay attention to how the questions are worded and find out which resource your professor uses to make the exam. All Professors get their questions from a bank. Try to spend more time figuring which bank the professor uses. I would recommend doing this the first exam. You may fail the exam but the most important thing is to know where the questions are coming from. Talk to the students who are getting the best grades find out what they are using and incorporate some into your study routine. Since it’s the last exam find the student with the highest grade and study with him.
Antonio, I don’t know how I landed on your channel, but thank God I did! I subscribed right away! You are so inspiring! I thought I was the only one crazy enough to go to Med school in my late 30’s! Frankly, it was God who led the way. I am currently 42, working on my electives and set to graduate next year in January. If you ever need someone to discuss medicine with, I am all ears. I don’t mind sharing my tips too. Sometimes, that’s all it takes is for someone who has been in your shoes 👟 to share their story with you. I just wanna encourage you to keep going!! I wanted to reach out to you privately but I didn’t see any email listed and unfortunately, I am not on instagram😢 Stay blessed! You will be a great Doctor one day.
It's now the past. Let's plan for your successful future! Like someone commented you in it now! All things are possible....keep your head to the sky sir! Keep that encouragement.
Brotha, you got this. When it all seems to be going to hell, there is something beautiful waiting for you at the end of the tunnel. Maybe you know and maybe you don’t, but your channel has saved lives and continue to inspire all of us. Stay strong and know we got your back.
Hey friend. I've been right there with you. I bet you know how to get where you need to be for the next test. Trust that you know a good plan and stick with it. Study group chatting too much? Go to the library quiet room. Sketchy work for you? Make a regimented schedule, get through the pharm for repro or endocrine (or whatever is next) in the next Fri-Sat stretch. etc. etc. Those aren't necessarily the steps you need to take, talk to an M3 you trust and related to (maybe one who didn't study science for undergraduate). And trust what vision you have as to how you take care of this next test and get in the high 80s or 90s. You have my e-mail if you want to chat or strategize. I struggled greatly with M2, it did NOT come easily or without a lot of strife. Rooting for you friend. Look forward to the future: "Thank you Dr. Patterson, my mom is feeling so much better!" "Thank you Dr. Patterson, I can walk without pain now." You'll be there soon. Slam dunk this last test.
LOL! Nah. I study alone now. The material was just super dense. They threw 17 lectures at us this week and most of it was pathology. I got the score back and it was all good so now I have to make another video. LOL
@@StudentDoctorAntonioPatterson YES! I'm glad to hear it. I've had a lot of times when I walked out and was 99% sure I failed. Keep it up! You are obviously a great medical student, remember that.
You got this!! Go back to the drawing board and make the necessary adjustments. A doctor that graduates at the bottom of his or her class is still a doctor. You just have to get past this obstacle. You have a lifetime of learning!! I hope the best.
Keep your head up!! Too late to turn back now Doc…🙏🏽🙏🏽 Remember part of when Mary Mary sang….”nobody told you the road would be easy and I don’t believe God brought you this far to leave you”… KEEP YOUR HEAD BROTHER ❤
Man this is the only part of having goals or dreams which i dislike so much The disappointment and all the other stuff one has going on in life But if there is something to gain and growth why not Respect to you because I know that feeling It’s so easy to give up which is often why I’m not giving up The easy route is really a short term satisfaction and then one feels empty Best wishes for you and your family

Took the NBMe Anatomy school requirement. 1 pt pass margin. Also Physio got the score 3days ago. Refuse to look at my score, because of how I'm feeling. Lot's of Patho material and it's my 1st Term. There's this guy in our class gets 100% on every exams..and involved in clubs, just nominated SGA president. I don't compare myself to others, but I feel ya.! Next video on your score❓️
Standing in prayers with you. Receive divine favor. Call your beautiful wife and have her pray with you as well. They power when couples pray together.
It was pathology of the endocrine system. I actually passed and it turned out be one of my highest scores! I also killed the final comp! I forgot to make a video about the test results. I'll get one out soon.
