Martin Odegaard injury: Norway doctor reveals assessment as Arsenal star returns to London on crutches. Martin Odegaard will today return to Arsenal for further assessment on an ankle injury.
The 25-year-old had to be helped off the pitch during Norway’s Nations League match against Austria on Monday, sparking fears of a lengthy spell on the sidelines.
Odegaard’s ankle twisted as he was challenged for the ball and he was forced to immediately come off, with Norway manager Stale Solbakken admitting after the match that the injury “looked bad”.

The only players who have been "lucky" are Ødegaard, Saka, Rice and Gabriel who have not had a major injury like ever. Timber, Zinchenko, Tomiyasu, Saliba, Partey, Jesus, Martinelli, Vieira and ESR all suffered with long term injuries in the last 2 years.

@zackrysolos2007 If the option is second place to Man City, with a coach on his first job, the majority of the squad not in their prime, and the squad improving, I'll accept that . The players will learn from the last two years and be better for it. I also guarantee that whatever team you support wouldn't have ever gotten to a position to bottle the league.

I said it at the time it was absolutely ludicrous to sell ESR. Really poor decision especially when you let Vieira go as well. I think seeing as we had the almost perfect season and finished 2 points behind.. we really could be out by the end of the month. Merino, odegaard, Rice, Calafiori not available for city and Tottenham. We are in big trouble.

Arsenal bought Merino, a midfielder, who then got injured his first training session. We also made space for Nwaneri, please stop yapping man. We can be objective and acknowledge that Arsenal have been very unlucky so far lol. It is what it is, just have to deal with it obviously and Arsenal don't have the biggest squad but deary me.

I simply think there was a bit of waffle in ur comment in regards to us not doing anything to replace the likes of esr or viera, I think there is more credence in the idea that we didn't do enough to fill a creativity gap left by a Viera tho.
