the song is a bit more depressing that just a girl concerned with her looks. The song also implies that her face and body have scars all over them. So probably implying like an injury of some sorts like a fire. The listener never knows exactly what happened, but all we can get is the girl in the song is concerned with both her natural looks and abundant scars on her body/face.

Actually I believe this song is a bit depress at the beginning and the singer finally accept who she is, and embrace herself at the end, so it's not 100% wrong. and for what I feel is that the character sing this song after relieving herself, and told us the journey from start to the end.

Japanese onomatopoeia. It's an advanced grade of "Kirakira" that shines by reflecting light... The shine that shines more strongly and is a little persistent (for better or worse) is called "Gira Gira". How did you interpret this song as happy. Did you hear not the emotion in the vocals? Also, it isn't the soundtrack to anything, it's just a stand-alone song. It doesn't have to be a soundtrack to an anime or manga just because it's a good Japanese song.
