Would love to see the underclassmen and backups rewarded with playing time. Hopefully the starters can jump out to a big lead and we play the 2nd half with the reserves
Zero worries for this game for Texas. Texas will run them over with how the offensive line is playing, zero chances for the roadrunners. What I want to watch is OFFENSIVE LINE # 2 and Arch's throws in the second half of the game.
We don't know the optional playcalls that might have been - obviously, the emphasis was on passing, QB and O-Line pass-blocking highlights. Fine. But Sark continues to have injured QBs and RBs - like every season - because thats' his calling card: "Come play for me, I'll get you hurt-!!" Well, with the type of scatback, cut-back, high knee flex runners he's got left, we'll likely see more toe, ankle and perma-knees among the current left-overs... which all had some brilliant play. Sark's 2024 version DOES have some decent-enough pass blocking. Velcro-handed QBs can hang onto the ball way too long at their own peril, as long as they don't laugh on the sidelines. What did you think of O-Line #2? I thought they did fairly well... I'm not sure what we saw, though, because I saw 2-3 man rotations. I know O-Line #1, but I kept thinking we had Blends up to midway 3rd Qtr, then we had some pure #2's, never a pure #3 (which I'd love to see - but something tells me the coaches' familiarity with Pure #3 is why I did NOT see them! ha ha... fine. At least I know the coaches know Good from Bad-!!
So 3 out of 4 are predicting Texas doesn’t cover?? Disappointing. No way UTSA scores a Touchdown, and Texas wins by over 50 with Arch throwing Two TDs.
I expect Manning's insertion to yield more points, not less because he'll be handed more on-field time. Is he handed the started offense? Or starting O-Line for protection? I think YES. After his first scoring possession or so, they replace everyone with the 2nd stringers-plus. I don't expect Manning's possessions to end up with all TDs (or even all scores). I expect flubs and a lot more mis-starts, maybe a Chrissy Simms' style turnover barrage. I sorta hope he'll experience this inevitability NOW against a team where Major-Applewhite walk back on and win it. "Leave Chrissy on the sidelines laughing... that's his best on-TV performance!"
@@Cbcw76 I hate Chris Sims too. Now when he’s a woke leftist commentator after he was a choke artist that screwed the pooch in EVERY big game. Second team offensive line would still be top 40 in the nation.
