Here's a question for you, I have a small 2210 john deere tractor that I use for jobs that require a light machine. These mini skids are much more popular, they have the same lift capacity, what advantages does the mini ski have over small tractor? Trying to figure out if I should buy one.

@@alexmatthews2332 mine has a 500lb capacity for lifting, the tracks allow easy maneuvering even on soggy terrain. But the attachments give you a ton of versatility for example I can use mine for irrigation lines landscape projects light demo and moving material

@Daniel rojas I would love to have a grapple. My full size 318E skidsteer is a beast but definitely can't take it everywhere. I have a winch on my chipper I haven't used it a ton but when I do it's amazing.

It is a lot like a car crash if you hit a stump. Very uncomfortable jarring feeling that hurts your whole body. I try to watch out for them. As far as tracks slipping off it's just a matter of checking them if you feel resistance when turning. A stump or rock can get the track off but the 50 hour interval service includes checking track tension which can help with that problem too.

Are you saying you don't like the music? Or do you want to hear what the bobcat sounds like

At the time I paid 27k for the machine with no implements. The bucket was less than 1k, the grapple was more than 1k, the stump grinder almost 6k. These machines are a lot more money right now. I was blessed and it was a very good time to buy.

@@larrybrandonii269 certain features not well thought out. Radiator overflow outlet is plastic, breaks off so easily and then you need a whole radiator unless you're very clever. Access doors don't actually provide access without a wrench so why the thumb screws? Everything over torqued from factory. Muffler spark arrestor plug impossible to remove without removing muffler from engine and using bolt extractor. Gauges not installed correctly and all three have failed in the first year from vibration being too loose. Handles to the doors are backwards to the orientation that's most natural. Upsides: everything else is great. Awesome power, great balanced machine, comes with counter weights attached at middle if you want to move them and exceed stock lift capacity. Quality tracks. Great bobcat implements. Good fluids from bobcat. Good parts ordering service. Reliable machine. Mechanical hydraulic controls. Trusted name brand and dealer support. Good payment options. Usability has no complaints. It's only design issues or bad workmanship that can be aggravating.
