I think there is a system you overlooked in your logic when starting the game, you might address it later as im just 14 min into the game, but every starting location also have smaller settlements that produce a resource that is sent to you as the King of the land. So for instance the area you noted that was strange that there was no food, even though there was farms on the map, that is in fact because that was a farming settlement that would be paying the fief Rye, and the location you chose, while it didnt have any Iron on your fief, your settlement did have Iron which then give you a "free" constant supply of Iron.
Ah, the poor math excuse of people didn't live to be 80 years old in the middle-ages because for every person living to that age four died before they were three years old. If you got through teens and were not killed in wars and similar pursuits of lesser magnitude you had pretty good chances to live a long time.
@CharliePryor no, I still keep watching (up to a certain extent). But it is a funny thought if you forgot/don't know how to change their age and now stuck with a younger brother who is older than his supposed older brother lol
@@Bruh-jz1se if that’s what you think… then you didn’t watch more very closely. That literally isn’t true for more than the initial character select. Every other moment of this 1 hour video has the younger brother actually younger, and I immediately explain how to adjust the age
