The push on Sterling was outside the box....VAR wouldnt have given a penalty. It should have been a freekick for sure. Celtic should have been given a penalty for that handball thats been given to both teams against smaller clubs all the time. The tackle from Vickers was clean so no point anyone moaning about that and the push on Hart is a push....you should know by now the amount of football you watch in Scotland and England that once you put your hands on the goalie from a corner its a freekick....youd be screaming for it if it was the other way round. Good... you agree the goal shouldn't stand as their was a foul before it went in. However the push was before Taylor started hugging the guy, not after. so a penalty shouldn't have been given either. So the push is where the 1st foul happen & that superseded the hug, so no pen, which superseded the goal, so the goal came after two fouls, the 1st of which was the possible offence. If no push and Taylor did a figurative "bear hug" then a pen would have been the right choice. The right decision was made. I get it, We didn't get the handball. It was wasn't intentional, but his arm was not in a natural position (unless you're a Dalak), so I get your fustation... plus a Scales push outside the box went unpunished.

Officiating is piss poor in most matches and affects all teams. High profile ones in these games.......always hurt more. The bottom line is, yesterday, we had them pegged back most of 2nd half and couldn't put an end product together. A player who can absolutely hold his head up as having been outstanding this season, gets the ROT on him and makes an error.
