Oh my goodness me, I know you don't want to hear this but this one time our theatre group was on tour and the rest of the freaking group wouldn't even put the bloody dishes in the dishwasher and I hate the of eating of unclean dishware so I kept filling the dishwasher and washing up after everyone. Then end of the week, I snapped and complained to the director that no was following the chore schedule. She told everyone to tidy up and I was to supervise aka watch them do it and the gits all started singing hard knock life! I swear I was put them all in the trash but they all figured I was pissed as I stopped saying please do this thank you instead I was all someone needs to wipe down the stove and they were terrified. Gosh! I needed to get that out of my system 😂😂😂😂
Wow. This brought back flashbacks of cleaning the frat kitchen with a few brothers. We only know the refrain "Its a hard knock life, for us" and we just kept singing that over and over and making up lyrics.
This always makes me smile. It is among the top 5 or ten scenes from this show. It was a sad day when this show ended.It is hard think of just one scene as a fav, This kitchen scene .Next to Amy saying ''you want to rub something on my chest'',and penny saying ''ahhh is that my elbow''? Sheldon's sacrifice at the paint ball game.Bernadette and Howard as the smurfs.I could do this all day.Howard falling into the robot hand.Priceless.
Raven Sutcliffe - I especially enjoy it when actors get to be performers. They are hired for a part, and kind of stuck in that mold. But when they get to play musical instruments (even though that is not a normal part of the formula), or sing, or dance, or do impressions (Howard, during Dungeons and Dragons), they get to step a little bit outside their characters and show some versatility. You can see on their faces how much they enjoy it.
12 years is a long time. If a show goes on much longer than that, it always goes downhill. Honestly I do think this show declined in quality a bit over time but it was still pretty good when it ended.

If I was Bermadette, I would tell them to knock it out because they should not be complaining via a IAHKL from Annie. They might as well sing Todd Rundgren's Bang the Drum All Day that is more well known as I Don't Want to Work Anymore. If they sang that and I was Bermadette, I would be furious and give them a lecture. By the way, this reminds me of the Drake and Josh episode The Bet where both of them were enjoying themselves playing games (Josh) and eating junk food (Drake) and neither of them barely listened to their mom to bring their sister Megan home on a rainy day, but they didn't. They didn't because they were too engrossed in their own personal indulgences to care.
I wouldn't have expected the science nerds to have a theatre nerd moment, but I absolutely love it!!! The way it happens is so realistic, with one person humming or whistling a song, and others joining in and gradually breaking into actual singing and possibly dancing. That's the beauty of music to connect people!
Where is the part where Howard's shoe sticks to the floor and then his sock too. He just stands there and tells Bernadette "just leave". This is funniest scene on the show, I was in tears
