I hate the fact that Korean media still perpetuate the though that being married is bad for an artist. Let them live their lives, fall in love and be with their partners all they want! Love is one of the most beautiful things this world has and being married is not something negative or something that can make a singer/artist any less perfect 😒

Is not bc they are less ''perfect'' tf are you on 😂 It's because the songs solo artists sings are MOST of the time, ballads, korean love slow and nostalgic songs. And the kind of songs korean groups sing about have some sort of sex appeal, fans see them perform and FEEL attracted to them. It's easier to be attracted to someone when you know you have a 0.000000001% of probabilities to being with him. That little percent becomes 0 when they are in a relationship, already taken. When the kpop groups sing ballads, they are romantic ballads too Those kind of songs: romantic and kind of sensual songs (either bc of the coreo itself or lyrics) are the ones which are successful on charts. That's the world we live in dear

This is how the public especially the media should accept the fact being married early is not bad for artists/celebrities/idols. Even for them to have girlfriend/boyfriend is not a bad thing. Let them live a life as human being. For example, Chen is married and have a daughter. I’m so sad with how some koreans treat him. Please and please upgrade your mentality. We only live once and the world doesn’t revolve around you only.

I agree with you but..I think Kpop fans are 'generally' young teens who like fantasizing about their idols and dream about dating/marrying them..thats why Kpop companies want the idols to seem like they are single and 'not taken' to attract fans who spend money and time for their idols which is also the way the companies earn money...I don't think the die-hard fans would invest so much in their idols who are dating in real life(?)

My heart broke hearing he lost both of his parents when he was 15. I'm 14 and its been about 5 years since I lost my dad, my mom was never apart of my life. So I went into foster care because no one in my family wanted to take me in (I was 9 when he died.)

In korean perfect age for male to get married is 30 - 35 yo, thats why when they married like at 25 - 30 its still early too them, even some korean people think that 30-34 yo still early to married lol. Married before 30 doesn't considered early at all❌ my mom getting married when she was 18 and my dad is 27. she giving birth & taking care of my elder brother all by herself. im 18 and im not even sure i'll be taking care of a baby if im married now geez. hope Chen will be treated fairly.
