This new tiny house/cottage single wide mobile home is the twenty first house I will be showing from the 2023 Biloxi Manufactured Housing Show! Stayed tuned I toured several brand new prefab home models and they will all be coming very soon! This prefab house also has several different options and is built as a hud manufactured home! The manufacturer for this house is Oak Creek Homes(Smart Cottage Series). The model for this home is the “Starling” This home has 1 bedroom and 1 bathroom and has roughly 680 square foot. Let me know what you think about the video! We have seen the mobile home business come such a long way. In the old days most people referred to mobile homes as a trailer house. However some of the manufactured homes we carry are far from “trailer houses.”

2:41 You got Bill Willkins, the manager of the Abilene lot. Met him when I filmed there in January. They have this model at the Oak Creek dealer in Oklahoma City. I was there on Thursday.

Due to outrageous building costs, these homes are less affordable for seniors than the park model style once was. However, this one would be perfect for retirement or even for a young couple.

I'm not really into single wides, mainly because they don't have enough storage. I personally think the bathrooms should have a shower/tub combo. As for dining space, I don't like eating at an island, especially with guests. I think a good design idea could be having an attached table on the front of the island that opens up and then folds back down so seats can be kept at the island. A folding table could conceivably seat four, with the upper island being used as a buffet space. The laundry area being kept behind doors instead of in the hallway is a nice and welcoming touch.

I am so happy for you and Caitlin that you're going to have another boy. Cullen is going to be an absolutely awesome Big brother. I am so excited for you guys. Really like this little home I like where the washer and dryer would be at instead of in the hallway. 2-bedroom of this I would needed two bedroom. Live in Texas so I'm going to retire in the next six or seven years and all right now I'm in at 3 three-bedroom two-bath mobile home but it's not mine I would like to have something that belongs to me. I am currently living on 30 acres that belongs to friends / family because I've known him so long they seem like family. And they want me to stay here and retire here they are such awesome people they have set me up on my own acre of the 30 and have taken such absolutely wonderful care of me. Thank the Lord for them everyday and in the next 5 or 6 years I'll be starting to look for something that I can call my own and put it on the property

Far and away best execution of that floorplan. Added a few sq ft to give you usable LR, smaller island. Love that the BR is not all built in furniture. W/D in bath really opens up hallway.

I like this style. There's another one with the same layout, but I like it a bit better because theres room for a desk on the wall next to the kitchen area, in the hallway there. Love the small backsplash tiles. Very nice. Overhead vents too! Excellent!

Nice floor plan and layout, however I would prefer a small table with 4 chairs instead of the Island even though the Island provides additional cabinet and counter space. Excellent for a cottage at the lake or in the mountains for a getaway.

Hello Chance! This would be a nice place for young newlyweds buying a home for first time. Or for a single person who'd rather buy a home than rent one, (actually I wish I had done that myself, especially when I was young!). It's a nice vacation or weekend home as well. But I couldn't actually Live in it! Husband says the whole 682 sqft would make him a nice size Gym (right now he's set up in one of the barns our landlord gave us access to)! Anyway, not for us, but a nice place just the same. Good video, Chance. Congratulations on it being a boy. And prayers y'all have a healthy son too. I'm sorry but I can't remember when Katie is due. But I'm sure you'll let us know when the birth happens! And I have a request. Could you record and show us the first time Cullen gets to see his baby brother? That would be a great short video for your channel, Chance! You have time to talk to Katie about it and for the two of you to decide if you want to do it. Like those cabinets without the pulls because if you have the pulls and are wearing baggy pants or shorts with lots of pockets when you get close to the pulls you can get shorts or pants hung on the pulls and possibly ruin pulls or pants or both

The thing I like about tiny homes as opposed to manufactured homes is that they have more of the building materials that a regular stick build home has. The manufactured homes have those plastic seems in the wall and horrible paneling. They also have a tendency to have popcorn or textured ceilings.

I love!! Need space for my crafts. Maybe enclosed porch? 1.I would take window on porch out..this wall will allow to put fireplace with TV above and book shelves with additional storage (wall to sealing). 2. I would replace an island with circular table ( I like to do prep by sitting) 3. fridge would replace with apartment style (tall with freezer on bottom) 4. Next to fridge would do pantry with pull out drawers top to bottom So, how much would ot cost? Another question..

I really like this one. Spacious & light. I would put a sliding ( barn style ) door in the bedroom to the closet so the door wouldn't be out into the room.

If they took the shower tile up ONTO the ceiling & made the glass floor to ceiling, it’d be a steam shower. Add in the full body, multi head, adjustable shower head with a hand wand & a tiled bench & tray, it’d be perfect! It’s perfect for a getaway home, but for an everyday home, the living room would have to be bigger. (I’d also move the laundry, HVAC & water heater to the garage or basement, if one is possible. Giving you a lot more closest/storage inside) Don’t really care about a dining room as you can just raise the countertop on the island enough to have a slide-out, folded table underneath, turning your island into a large dining table when necessary. (transforming furniture has definitely come a long way, especially when it comes to small homes like this one)
