I'm gonna correct you on something: Gusion rebake's blade is NOT a halberd, it's a battle axe. A halberd consists of a speartip and an axe blade. Gusion's axe does have a pointed tip, but it's too shallow to be anything more than asthetic. Not trying to be mean, just trying to be informative.
Part of me is like, I hope with the IBO Spinoff they will start doing more MG but the other me is like "Do you know how long the other 00 MG kits announced after the anime ended?"
Regarding an MG I think the Full City version of Gusion is the better one, if nothing else than the sentimental value of... probably the most iconic scene of the entire show, when Iok Kujan got what he deserved. I’m a grown man and I still get angry thinking about him.
Agreed, the full city's blocky design is more appealing than the standard rebake. That is one of my favorite IBO suits and I hope that bandai released it as a master grade asap.
@@MusicFan752 An MG of the Gusion Rebake is actually pretty likely, the shoulders and subarms are graze arms that were partially used in the barbatos expansion kits, and a large portion of the rest of the suit seems to be extra parts from barbatos, so bandai making this as a full MG would be more likely than the Lupus if I had to guess.
I can’t help but wonder what this kit would come with in Master Grade format. I’d imagine it will be pretty much the same as Barbatos, if Bandai decides to do Vidar and Bael, then they really just have to change the plastic and the feet just a little bit. It’d probably take a while, but it would be pretty awesome to see all IBO Gundam frames as full MG kits
Interesting how Bandai has not yet milked the Gundam frame to pump out MG IBO kits. You'd think there are already a bunch of MG IOB kits on the market now after the MG Barbatos.
Actually I made a MG Version Gusion Rebake using MG Barbatos Frame, the parts are quite easy to fit there are some trimming, sanding and thickening of Gusion parts to fit the MG Frame
If you’re still wanting to finish some more Iron Blooded Orphans kits, one you haven’t reviewed yet (or possibly have) is the Full Mechanics Kimaris Trooper. It’s nothing special, just has better color separation, a minor gimmick on the chest, and better articulation on the side skirt sub-arms when compared to the high grade kit. Looks nice, though.

MG must be in the works for the Rebuke. The regular MG Gusion is most likely gonna be P-Bandai. It's just a matter of when and if the new parts are engineered right to make it work on an existing frame. We got another 71 to go in MG and tons of various armor parts to go with that, which shall all end up on webshop site as expansion units.
I think for the sake of time and money cost, Bandai should just make the master grade first forms of the individual gundams like Kimaris, Gusion, etc and just make armor extensions like the Barbatos. That way it would be cost efficient to buy individual armors like the Lupus and Lupus and just swap it with the base MG Barbatos. Most likely won't happen, but just an idea. PS: would love to see MG Gusion Rebake and MG Flauros.
I think they'll be great as diorama pieces. Good details and size. Just permanently glue them on the poses/scenario you want so it won't go floppy on you after few years
If we can get a Master Grade Gusion, I'll be happy. Idealy I'd love for the Lupus and Lupus Rex to get MG's as well as the Rebake Full-City and the Flauros/Ryusei-Go IV, but I'll take what I can get one kit at a time.
Would be nice, but also takes longer than doing an MG Graze. Only that and the gundam frames have a 1/100 basis. They would have to start from scratch which could take them years
When will you get other Battlogue kits in Mecha? Would love to see Astray Inversion!! The Crimson Gouf and Wing Sky Zero seem like color scheme flips so not too sure they need to be reviewed
It’s about time,I’ve been commenting about this on your videos for a while now because I only cared about building the rebake version of the 1/100 Gusion. Also I just wanted to add that your old hg IBO videos are the reason I’m a Gundam fan,I just thought they looked the coolest compared to the gunpla in your other reviews,so I looked up IBO on RU-vid then later found out it was on Netflix,then I just kept watching your reviews and watched the Gundam anime series/movies that had the coolest looking designs;there’s still a bunch I have watched yet,like Zeta and 08th MS team,but I will once I buy the Blu-rays.
Yes as the red part does not click with the frame, so it sometimes moves upwards when posed. I don't know why bandai made it that way but my best guess would be to accomodate the looking down pose range
I've been doing a little project to transplant my FM Bael's armor onto a spare MG Gundam Frame! It takes a lot of trimming and some creative gluing, but it can work.
To answer the question of how easy it would be to transpose the armor onto the MG Frame, it's tough. It's not impossible, but you're gonna have to nip quite a few tabs. You're gonna need to work with those feet. And you're gonna need some kind of glue/tack/cement to keep it all on. I've done it with the Lupus and the Rex, and the results were pretty good, but it definitely took a good bit of time.
If Guision ever does get an MG (and it should), I'm hoping Bandai has it so you can build it either as how we first saw it or as Rebake. Rebake Full City... Who knows. Maybe if we get Barbatos Lupus and Lupus Rex.
My Barbatos has had its fair share of problems, head popping off when moving it, red shoulder armor breaking, and the big blade almost breaking in half
I’m surprised they haven’t gotten to doing more MGs of IBO since most of the Gundams use the same exact frame. In the very least I’d like to see a line of them in RGs.
Was IBO successful in Japan? Genuine question here. Because if it didn't do well then it's not really a surprise that they still didn't get MG/RG kits. If not, then what the hell are they waiting for?
I wonder why we don't call it HGPD which stands for HG Post Disaster since that is the timeline of IBO. We call the rest by their timeline - HGCE, HGAC etc.
I think eventually we might get an MG for ASW-G-11 Gundam Gusion, ASW-G-11 Gundam Gusion Rebake, and ASW-G-11 Gundam Gusion Rebake Full City. But first, I think MG ASW-G-08 Gundam Barbatos Lupus and MG ASW-G-08 Gundam Barbatos Lupus Rex is more of a priority.
don't tell me Bandai forgot how milk-able the MG IBO Gundam Frame is and not to mention easy and cheap to produce any of the IBO Gundams because all they need is to make new outer armors for them, I want a MG Astaroth and Dantalion!
If only bandai just made the IBO full mechanics as detailed as the Seed Calamity Full Mechanics, we wouldn't need a mg. I guess they only thought of starting that level of detail with Calamity.
question. whats the difference between full mechanicss and the master grade? cause i only possesses the full mechanics kits as they say on their instruction booklets
gundam gusion is one of the best gundam ever and i was thinking gundam gusion look like a spider i know spiders got 8 legs this one is not but the shield is just put it in the butt or is it an armor butt spiders got big butts
I hope I could find one of these since I have the Full Mechanics 1/100 Barbatos Lupus Rex. So I could display them side by side like in the anime Soo I gotta save up some money and find this model kit online.
I can't say that I like this kind of half-assed review with missing parts and lack of research. He didn't even know that the head can transform until fiddling with it. You can really feel the lack of passion as he only interested in putting out constant videos.
Kinda but he already built the kit in japan and moved it on a shelf in his appartement. Also the kit is meh and he doesnt rly hide it. But yeah he is pumping content while building Virtue.
Just a question for the vision rebake full city: can it hold the scissors with the main arm and the subarm like it did in its last fight? Using any hands it needs to do so
