I don't know about that. Both did some absolutely baffling things in this one. For TRIANGLE, we get this exchange between the men: "shape, three..." "shape three?" "...sides!" "oh oh... uh uh oval, circle" (when Amanda gets TRIANGLE) "(confused/surprised) oh". And when the men couldn't get GEARSHIFT, Amanda gives this 'clue': "it's a...".

They didn't get ONE thing right and based off that she's a bad clue giver? Please, I assumed they would get gearshift immediately and he eventually got the answer just a little too late he even says "shift" before the actual buzzer. You could have just made your own comment and left me alone. She did good in my opinion, you don't have to share my opinion with me hence why it's *mine*

@@fdsfsdfsd1552 Come on, sometimes you overthink when guessing clues. I also thought a clue for "Triangle" would be "shape, three..." but most people need the word "sides" to dream up what you're talking about. And once they finally caught on, he just guessed one of the rudimentary shapes without really thinking about it. The men did well. I think Amanda has great clues for some but for others, she thinks of something associated with the word and doesn't realize how that isn't clear to someone who doesn't know the word.

@@Msshashad You've misunderstood me. The problem with Amanda I was pointing to is that sometimes she gives absolutely baffling clues like "it's a..." or "it's the...", which waste words and stand no chance of helping the guessers.

I agree. I think the judges shouldn't have counted it ("surge" is not the same as "urge") but since Amanda seemed to have dreamed that up as a clue, I think they feared she would not have a back-up and then just struggle the entire round to compensate and it'd be bad TV.

Having Melissa on your team is a HUGE advantage. Man, she's so great at this game.
