The second clip showed the full story, but the police are more concerned who showed the second clip as they want to prosecute that person for showing the truth.

They were arrested. Four of them. Haven't been charged yet. However, there does appear an obvious case to answer, so they should be charged and brought to court. Unfortunately, they have not been brought to book. Why? We can only speculate ,and that gets us into trouble. In my 'umble opinion they should swiftly be charged and fast tracked to court.

Anyway what actually led up to the fraccass was the cops trying to slap cuffs on the Asian males as they approached from behind at the luggage desk. Extremely bad tactic, that. Andy, you say a boot to the nut may have been a bit much but I disagree. These were armed police and the ‘people’ were getting the better of them. In these circumstances, the police have to neutralise the threat because just imagine what could have happened. I dread anything like that happening.

Exactly Andy. As I live in the area, I have the Manchester Evening News app on my phone, and get notifications for it. When this one first popped up, at first glance, I thought, at last, justice is going to be done. I was totally gobsmacked when I read what the notification really was about. Mind you, we are talking about GMP here, who I have little to no confidence in (Though I'm sure this goes deeper, and isn't entirely down to them) despite their apparent 'improvement' having been hauled over the coals in recent years.

It’s obvious why there haven’t been charges and a trial seen, in contrast with the speed and severity that some people have been dealt with. In fact it gets worse with a Hime Office Minister saying British nationals could be transported to off shore penal colonies in Estonia to serve sentences. Clearly in breach of human rights law, Sue-rung given our PM is supposed to be a “umma rights” specialist although mainly appears to have be suing the British State over the rights of IRA members and migrants. Not the rights of native Britons. Could you imagine the howls of outrage if a Home Office Minster said the Government would transport illegal immigrant back to their native countries?

It's surprising that they seem so concerned that evidence was released that explained the officer's actions. In other words, defending their own. Had the previous action not been filmed, the officers concerned would probably have been dismissed by now, even the one who received a broken nose. It's strange, we seem to have a stand-off, especially with no arrests being made. Time will tell.

In the U.S. the burden of proof is "supposed to be" to establish guilt, not innocence, and both the criminal intent and criminal act must be proven beyond reasonable doubt. TODAY IS THE DAY, ANDY, to get to 100K! I have a few questions myself on this one. Why did the first clip of the event happen as it did? We now know it was edited for effect and nobody seemed to have a problem in its release. Why did the release of the second one cause such a commotion? Why was that not released after the first one started to make the rounds? When looking at a wider picture it would seem that we are all being manipulated (those police included) and there would seem to be a narrative that is being followed. Only if something questions that narrative is there any problems. Looking at the narrative it is not one that favours us, but needs to be hidden because if we become aware and decide to act it could break that narrative! This keys in well with recent events.

To be fair, I understand that the media outlet (Manchester Evening News, I think) that published the leaked footage is refusing to give up their source to the IOPC (Independent Office for Police Conduct). So really, that particular organisation is doing a good job on this one. But yes, the point is well taken that the dodgy police are more interested in crushing the source of truth rather than prosecuting the criminals.

It's a travesty. Alright, the copper that stamped on the guys head will probably get some form of punishment for it, but without that additional leaked footage of what happened beforehand he would have been completely lynched! All I can say is, thank Goodness it WAS leaked and the WHOLE story came out, on behalf of that copper and his family. I dread to think what would have happened to that Officer had the extra footage NOT come out. Something really nasty about that whole scenario.
