@nobodythenobody9779 I agree. The thing I hate the most is when they take the animals puppies/kittens/calfs to sell or give away. As if they don't raise their own babies. The mother is heartbroken 💔 but humans ignore it. MOST Reptiles and insects are born independent, but NOT animals. 🤷🏾‍♂️ I like that you have a good heart to make a reply like that. I don't think you understand what the word crazy means or appreciate the size of that net especially in proximity to the elk who kicked/rolled the ball towards the kid from the top of a hill giving it only one path to travel, which happened to be near the net.

Yes and not overstep into dangerous situations. A respectful distance was maintained here, and the mom was supervising the whole thing. Nice to see this, but also native Coloradans are used to wild animals and how to be safe in the same environment

When I lived in Evergreen, we had about 7 acres of land behind our house, no fences. We were on an elk herd's migration path and twice a year, about 75 of them would end up in our back yard to spend the night, I guess to rest up after a long day of travel. Our two dogs, who barked their heads off at any animal they saw, were silent when the elk arrived and even intermingled with them if we let them out of their pens.
