Fun Fact: When Charlie turns around during Dennis’ dark rant towards those girls, that wasn’t scripted, he was laughing because he knew what was coming so he needed to turn away to not ruin the take.🤣
I love that they leave their character breaks in the show because it makes it seem more authentic. They are great showing us facial reactions to their brand of crazy.😂 "What was that? That was dark" concerned Charlie to Dennis. This show is so much like a dark version of Seinfeld.🤣
@@cliffd8380 I mean the better realization is when you realize that the character breaks they left in are because they *couldn't* get through the scene without breaking. They don't leave all of their breaks in, as you can see from the bloopers. It happens to them a lot. The fact is that when you see the breaks in the show, it just means they simply couldn't get through the scene with a clean take, and that's just awesome to me
What's even better is that, without knowing all that on the first watch, you just think Charlie is scared because he knows Dennis. Then you find it was actually him trying not smile and laugh at the lines and the acting from his friend. Another great Dennis in public moment.
One of my favourite running gags is that once in an earlier episode dennis asked Frank if he had eggs to egg a guy on a bike, ever since then frank has always seemed to have eggs
So nice to see Kaitlin Olson getting her proper respects from you guys. I think Rob McElhenney's gone on record saying that she's the funniest female comedian on TV today, and I agree.
The “what are we talking about” is something I say all the time. Same way too because people will say whatever and it drives me nuts. 😂 Mac eating ice cream at the end is pretty funny too.
This episode is so great, as is the whole season. Frank shouting LOOT LOOT while swinging his arms kills me so much. Dee screaming at Cricket is amazing. "Its gonna take 2 seconds, okaaay, is that okaaay Cricket....with you??"
The way they say "Poconos" is not even that exaggerated a version of many Philly-area speakers. We also have been known to turn ice into "oice," as in, "Where yuz getcher wooder oice from?"
Kaitlin Olson's new show, _High Potential_ , debuts tomorrow (9/17) on ABC. It's a remake of a French TV series about a janitor at a police department whose high IQ makes her really adept at solving crimes.
y2k actually could have been alot worse. But people had been preparing and updating software for years knowing it was about to happen so the damage and system crashes were very minimal.
Y2K was actually a serious problem, but thankfully there were many dedicated IT people that spent many sleepless nights fixing things so the transition went well.
Yes, and those stunning breasts are great GIANT moments of this episode, and humanity, and the cosmos. Billions & billions of years of stardust scattering and evolving to form such a wonderful array of awesome bewbage.
The pronunciation of Pocono’s in the episode is heavy with the Philadelphia/Baltimore accent. Not sure why they decided to emphasize the accent so much on that one word, but they did. See HBO’s The Wire or Bam Margera speaking for examples.
Y2K was fine BECAUSE everyone was freaking out and they realized they needed to redo the coding & take preventative measures from quite early on. I remember this because my uncle spent a lot of time doing exactly that since he worked in that field, which my mom worked for him doing easier but really boring tedious stuff. I remember Y2K happening while I was in the 5th grade. That’s how I sort/date memories. By news. Like the Jon-Bonet Ramsey murder all over the tabloids in grocery stores (such a 90’s thing) It’s my first news story memory. I was like, 4? Murder of Gianni Versace (vivid memories of the bloody steps by his gate) & Princess Diana (those seemed kinda back-to-back in my mind) 3rd grade(?)-ish 9/11 Definitely 7th grade. And looking back on it, I was pretty desensitized by this point. Hmm, Columbine idk what grade I was in but it was elementary/90’s. The start of America’s school shooting trend.
Nvm I just looked up the Jon Bonet thing, I was 7?! How did I get that so wrong? I remember her looking the same age as me. That’s because she basically was.😅 What a memory. Explains why I couldn’t remember Columbine more specifically either. My memory was all fucked then. Good to know I can’t trust my date method for memories pre-3rd grade. Also when Titanic was in theatres. 😂
the maya civilization was gone by the arrival of the spaniards. mayas still exist. mestizo is the word we use for those that come from the mixing, and mexican is not a people in the ethnic sense, but it is a nationality and a culture
2 years, still can't tell if Eric is saying "crew" or "cruel" when he handles the opening 😕And Dennis is not a psychopath for that reaction. That is THE reaction for that scenario. They totally wasted his time. It's a level of honest reaction I aspire to.
... "they should have realized I was only inviting them so I could sleep with them, and told me immediately about their boyfriends" is a correct worldview you aspire to? Yikes.
@@KAMZORguy Ah, yes, me watching something I like is clearly a nefarious force pulling at my marionette strings! Thank you for your enlightening commentary.
