I was assuming it was Charlie’s heartbeat, since he’s so insanely unhealthy. Just having a mild heart attack right there in the chair from the sort-of stressful situation.
This title card is easily the best. Mac and Dennis leave the bar so confident that they won’t get scammed, and the the title card just tells you, they get fucking scammed. Like just the bluntness of it is amazing
They start doing that a lot as the show goes on. Like in “Mac Kills His Dad”, right before the title card Mac claims he’s going to save him from death row.
@@Keyring7031 It's been there since the beginning. Season 2 has "The gang runs for office" where before the title card frank is saying people who work in politics are low lifes, season 3 has an episode that starts with Frank saying something to the tune of "and no one is going to get hurt", cut to title card: "Frank Sets Sweet Dee on Fire". I think even season 1 has some like this, but I can't remember them by heart.
@@world-traveler880 It really isn't. The implication is literally just Dennis and Mac in a creepy-outside-of-context scene. You need that context in the characters to really appreciate it without the creepiness getting in the way. This clip features all the characters and showcases their personalities pretty well.
I love those little random throwaway lines the gang says sometimes, I don't know why but "I'm gonna put them on the stool" just got me crying laughing.

This is hands down Charlie’s best episode. Especially when you realize this episode is a satire of Scientology since it was written right after Going Clear came out.

I love how Charlie is just willing to believe anything she says despite not knowing anything he or she are talking about. I’m sure if you said jump off a bridge and you get a carton of eggs and a new hot plate Charlie will do it no questions asked.
