IT'S BACK! 360 Magnum swapped Studebaker Pickup (Part 8) 

Loved this video group. This series of Studebaker was 49-53, "R" series. Studebaker classified trucks as 2R5=half ton, 2R10=3/4 ton, 2R15=1 ton, and 2R16=1&1/2 ton or 2 ton. I grew up with these trucks and have thought for years about putting a Studebaker truck body on the frame of a newer Dodge chasis. Love it!

Great build, the way you combined the Dakota and Stude gauges to make them function in the original housings in is one of the coolest details I've ever seen. Always super inspiring seeing your builds. Keep up the good work and big thanks for sharing.

Is just the chassis and engine from a dakota r/t? I noticed the donor truck in the previous videos was a dakota sport. That would explain the v6 wiring and the rims that were on the truck when you started. The r/t would have had 17" rims and the rear end would have 3.96 gear ratio w/limited slip. Just curious. I had a 2001 dakota r/t for eleven years. It's been a great truck. Just sold it to buy a 2004 ram 2500 cummins. I missed my old 96 12v cummins I had before the r/t. Cool build. Enjoyed watching it get done.

It looks ok but if it was mine. I would definitely change some things,starting with that hideous rear bumper

How long has he had the truck? I don't think I ever saw it when I lived there, but I'll have to check it out next time I'm down.

I would trust you anyday but there's the reason I don't trust any shops with my truck they rev it and what not because I got a 93 cummins standard done up a little with a stack

I have a 99 Dodge Ram 1500 with a 5..2 l (318),,,, had some issues with the Ant lock brakes so I pop the fuse out and noticed now the speedometer and odometer don't work that seems like a really messed up situation how many other model year trucks that you can pop out the anti-lock brake and stop your odometer from turning over for mileage fraud
