Though I've never handled the original, this remake of the "grail" OTF is hefty with solid action and overall good ergonomics.

Wow that thing is heavy. Did you see that guy on Instagram that drilled the frame on one of these and put a set screw with a detent ball in?

🤣 I just saw that! He actually lives 15 mins away from me, thinking about seeing if he can work on mine, even though his IG post said he wouldn’t take jobs for that 😂. Yeah it’s a hefty bih, don’t foresee much carry time with this one

It's still absolutely unbelievable...solid...and repeats and passes the barrel test...and it's not $2k ..that's how much Sand Sharks are going for ... minimum

How durable is this thing?

I’ve only had it for a week, so I can’t really provide an accurate assessment on its durability. It feels very solid though, heavy as well. I’ve fired it about 3 dozen times and it hasn’t failed on deployment or retraction so far.

There's a guy on Facebook who punched the blade through a steel drum and the lid. Then he hammers it into a 6×6 wood up to half way in.. works fine . The drum blunted the tip as you would expect. But never failed and action unfazed
