Great video and car!! I have a Brock signed poster of this car from Bathurst that year. I can't wait for scalextric to release this car. I just checked my merger collection and found that the first Bathurst winner to be released by scalextric was the 1964 ford cortina GT driven by Bob Jane/George Reynolds entered by the Ford Motor Company. I have every Bathurst program from 1973, including this years, used to have some earlier ones but they have disappeared over the years. I'm a few years older than you so remember when channel 7 used to break the telecast for an hour for lunch, very frustrating!! Thanks again for the wonderful videos of your holden collection. @RoughnReadyRaceway thanks mate. Yeah I took a big punt on the mini. I've not a lot of knowledge of the early days. Haha I'm hoping a chevrolet will win but I predict a Ford might get there this year.
Good to see you know your Bathurst v8s. Just a bit of insight m8 Bob Jane was the 1st Bathurst winner in a four door consul cortina red with a white roof. Scaly made the next winner which was also Bob Jane in a cortina gt. I’m actually 50ks from Bathurst and have seen a lot of action in the day. Keep up the good work m8👍😎Chas to win!✌️
