As a fellow suicidal personality sufferer, find something to live for. Sounds stupid easy but it isn't. My something to live for was my two cats. They were my "something to live for" for over 15 years. But one came down with cancer, it was so quick and I had no choice but to put her down before she started really suffering. Then some shit happened, I lost nearly all my belongings, but I still had my other cat. She was my light house. One year later she too passed away. Suddenly I was flying with no parachute. My failsafe was always,"but who would take care of my cats if I...." I plan on adopting another cat, most likely a senior cat because I don't know what the future holds, but in the mean time I went to a therapist. Then to a Psychologist. I have been on brain meds for a month, it has been a whole different experience. I feel scattered in everyday normal conversation but my Improv mind, that I never noticed leaving, is back. I can make up parodies on the fly again! I don't have anything specific to live for right now, I am in a bit of a transition stage, but for the first time in a while I look forward to what is coming. Try to find something to live for, even if it is out of spite!

It's good to see self reflection from anyone and efforts to improve and move on. Nobody can undo things that they've done in the past, all they can do is try to do better going forward and learn from things. I think the parasocial relationships you have with creators can create a weird paradox where they both feel like real people you know and strangers online at the same time, and people will say things to them they wouldn't say to someone in front of them and will feel way more strongly about their lives than they would with strangers under normal circumstances. Being several people's least favorite ex boyfriend isn't something that most of the people on here would actually totally ostracize someone for in real life, unless that person dated someone they were close to. I always looked at the whole situation as 2 separate things: your art and your personal life. They are separate and while they can play into eachother they are not defined by the other. You have made some poor choices and have delt with the repercussions. Your music however, has in my eyes continued to be absolutely beautiful. I have enjoyed the songs you make since i started listening to them about 4 years ago. Things have been rough for you after what happened. But i hope that you can still see the magnificent things that you have gifted to the world for what they are. Beautiful and amazing. You are capable of making poor choices and great ones.
