It's FINALLY DONE...ish. Part 04 of 04 shows me finishing the 'utilities' side of the buildout. This bench is where i will keep the power distribution, air compressor, tools, etc. Plus I mounted the modular Aluboxes on top to work as out kitchen and counter-space opposite the bench. I wired up the 120Ah battery to the National Luna DC25 smart charger and distribution box and tidied everything up. Duke is ready for adventure! (we took it to Baja for 16 days the day after i finished this build...)

It’s generic outdoor carpet you can find and any hardware store. I think I found mine at Lowe’s

Hi from Australia, I am in the process of building my 1hdt for overlanding and this series has answered my questions of workability with the space available. Ideally a troopie would be the best for conversion but to sell my 80 with its drivability, comfort and sentimental reasons was not on. Unfortunately the Compteq’s are not available in Oz so the search to import or convert the mainstream conversions is on. Thanks mate I really appreciate your work and inspiration.
