My favorite fabricator, he builds everything. He built Alex, and she wins a lot.

Just be yourself, PLEASE! The best channels are where everyone is just going about their day/work and allowing us the privilege of observing. Naturally the first few videos will be awkward as you settle into the routine of talking to the camera so don't sweat it. The fact is, even though you haven't had a channel of your own, you probably have spent more time being watched on RU-vid than most dedicated content creators already. Keep doing what you have always done and let Meg sort it out in editing later.

Don't bend to what people want. Just do you. With Alex being hit or miss on videos, it'll be nice to have content on your stuff. You're a big reason Alex is who she is.

Fabrication and technical explaining why something is done that way Is hands down phenomenal content, channel should kick ass!

Dennis it’s your channel. Do it your way. Either way they will love it or hate it. You can’t please everybody. Keep building your channel.

After watching the video, every person who is new to building cars needs to be watching these videos. Seeing you go through the thought process of how you decide to make things the way you do will be gold for anyone who has no idea who to get started in figuring out who to make things work together. There is no other channel that I've come across where people can see not only see the building of the car, but the thought process behind it, step by step from someone with decades of experience building high end cars.

Finally another good no BS show!!! None of pulling junk behind the shed which is the same every time!! True engineering which even if I don't understand still going to watch and learn. Congrats to the family. Going to enjoy the ride!!!

You’re Alex’s Dad!!! I almost quit Motor Trend when Tony Angelo left the Hot Rod Garage. But!!! Alex and Lucky Costa quickly changed my mind. Lucky is a great in the hot rod community but that daughter of yours is something else. The first time I watched Alex install a line lock I was hooked on the show. Besides that, Alex has grown up in a “racing family”, that girl knows the ins and outs of engine/suspension combinations, and it’s great to see that from my perspective. Alex is not “fluff” to watch on a channel. Thank you for raising such a solid human being. I love watching the channel. I always go away learning something.

I can't believe that it's 6+ years since Alex's "We're Back!!!" video. I've watched every single video put out by her channel and been amazed by the content. You can find out what people like, but do what you want to do. The best RU-vid channels are ones where the person just does their own thing and they eventually find their own audience. I personally love the deep technical stuff and explanations for why things are done a certain way instead of just saying this is what we're doing because that's the way we've always done it.

Been watching since the day Alex dragged the 55 from behind the shop. I have enjoyed watching you build that car and watching y'all race it. I've always loved watching you design and fabricate on Alex's channel Dennis. You're great at explaining why you approach something the way you do, right or wrong. I feel that's something sorely missing from many of the big and popular channels. Don't ever assume you're boring us. We (well, me at least) are here for the deep dive explanations (like going into your dual rail setup and reasoning why).

You are a dying breed man. U can just see something and build it. I also love that u probably have the money to buy, but u love making things your way. I have worked as a fabricator and a machinist for several years, and u seem as good as any I have worked with. It's also awesome that ur daughter doesn't just set back and drive. She also gets her hands dirty, that's how it should be.

Thank you for going the extra mile creating a channel where the rest of us can attend your class. Idea: could you fabricate an electric clutch similar to an AC compressor to further automate the switch from methanol to gas, so you don’t have to reinstall the drive belt for street operation. You mentioned switching other things off in the tune programming, so this would work the same way. Thanks for class, professor.

I don't think we ever got an explanation on what caused the 55s oil pressure problem at Sick Summer. Things like that could be good subjects for this channel. Like an "in-depth" all kinds of tech channel from the Taylors. It don't have to be all long videos, sometimes 5-10 min are all that's needed for an interesting video that focus on an specific problem/fix. Content based on catching the moment, starting the camera when an "interesting" problem/task are being worked on in the shop. Like Jims Automotive seem to have had an big success just showing machine work from the shop, despite the YT videos are long and very nerdy, with an lot of numbers. But the "cleaning guy" are great at explaining why it's done this way.

I always learn something from Dennis. The car is planned rather than just stuck together, Plugs and valve covers are easy to access.
