I really do like the detail of Otto not assuming Peter is Spider-Man despite the connection that could be made. He comes to his own conclusions based on what he knows about Peter, it's such a small detail, but I love it

I come back to this series every year just because of how impressive this game is and how Jack's vibe has changed so much since

Sean comes up with the coolest, snappiest comebacks! For example, "I'll teach you what the inside of your, er, mouth tastes like!" Or, "Look at you, Mr. Dead!" Or even, "Bonk!" Truly an icon, Mr. Septiceye!

I love how the game contradicts itself on Peter's physical strength. The entry says he can lift up to 10 tons. Then we see him holding up a whole floor which is about twice that. Then later we see him holding not 1 but 2 armored trucks without straining. FYI armored trucks are roughly 33-38 tons each. In the comics his greatest feat of strength I'm aware of is him stopping a 5 car bullet train when it had started at 80mph. The train itself is around 135 tons, this doesn't include it's forward momentum. We see him chasing Venom through an amusement. Venom to get Peter off his trail rips the Ferris Wheel out of the ground and casually throws it over his shoulder like it weighed nothing. However Peter not only catches it, he holds it in place long enough for all the civilians to get out of the way then he sets it down on it's side. FYI Ferris Wheels are are around 95 tons. I think they got the wrong number off of Wikipedia cause it says 10 tons on there. However the encyclopedias say the upper limit of his strength isn't known but he rarely lifts more than 10 tons at a time. Of the 3 main Spider-men, Peter, Miguel and Miles, it's Peter that has demonstrated the greatest feats of strength and endurance. Miguel is the fastest and most resilient. Miles has the camouflage and bio-electric abilities. I personally like that even though they have the same base abilities they are all still unique.

I'm revisiting this series now that the gameplay trailer for it's sequel is out. The hype is real.

Something awesome I’d love to see: Daredevil, and other heroes. Just a street level game like this. Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Spider-Man, Luke Cage, etc. and like you could pick a character and play their stories! It could start or end with a cross over between everyone, but your full story would be part seldom to you and have occasional side crossovers with 1 or 2 other characters!

Dude rewatching this while jack is playing “Spider-Man - Miles Morales” brings me back to the simpler times

I'm rewatching the series, and honestly my favourite part of watching Sean play this game was just how giddy he was about it. It's one thing to watch somebody play through a good game, it's another to watch somebody enjoy a good game.

one of my favorite things about this game is the dialogue outside of cut scenes, if you’re web-swinging or fighting enemy’s peter will respond to phone calls exhausted or out of breathe sounding but when he stands still he’s fine

I’m just rewatching this series, while also replaying the game myself, and I don’t know if your question was answered or not jack, but I have a friend who used to live in New York City and he says it’s basically to scale. Not perfectly, obviously cause that would be real difficult, but it’s pretty damn close. He found his old apartment which was really dope.

This is the only game I’ve ever 100%ed. that includes DLC, main game, and all achievements. That includes beating the game twice including a new game + and ultimate difficulty play through. Only bad parts were when I got all ultimate on all challenges (you only need spectacular for achievements and 100% but I did them anyway). Getting all spectacular is easy but all ultimate is a lot of trial and error.

if you came back from No way Home, you know the beginning was the best , classic, and a simple good-looking suit
