A true fighter do not matter about location and the true fighter also do not care who he suppose to fight. When everything had been set, DO NOT give excuses just fight. Giving such excuses is not fit the mentality of a fighter. It is very funny when he asked his opponent regarding the location. He should asked the organizer. Only organizer know why they choose the location. And a true fighter also do not cry foul who he suppose to fight. Again giving excuse that his opponent do not qualify to fight him just because he never fight the top 5 guy. Islam did call out Oliveira May on instagram accepting the offer to fight in Brazil if there was any this year, the reality is Oliveira himself didn't want to fight Makhachev saying even if he beat Beneil it would still not be enough lol since then he tactically stayed silent hoping for Conor to accept his offer. It also goes way back in 2019 when no.14 ranked Makhachev called out the no. 11 ranked Oliveira but he chose to fight the unranked Jared Gordon, what comes around goes around as he will be defeated by the man he ran from.
